Vert latches - Year one - sale ????

Hi all , a while ago year one had a sale for a-body convertible
latches. I purchased some, as did many other members here
from what I read. Remember they were like $49 each , great deal.
Of course they were out of stock at the time. It has been , I think
a least a month maybe 6 weeks since then. I never recieved confirmation
or nothing from them . Not even we are out of stock letter. Is this normal
for Year one not to acknowledge purchases, and has anyone actully received there latches yet? Just wondering if I should start sending them
nasty letters is all. Cheers. Also I need to buy some lower quarter panal patches for my 67 and 68 barracudas and not to sure I want to use year one for this purchase seeing as this Latch purchase is not seeming to
happen to well. Silence is not always golden. Any sugestions on where
to buy these ? good quality and good price would be cool. LOL Cheers

I would not use Year one for the other parts, Use Classic Industries.
They show if in stock and they send you a tracking number.
I did order those latches and did not receive them yet but charge me from
Year One. I do not think nasty letters will work because they will just cancel
your order.

I really do not know what is going on at Year One.

I ordered the hood and trunk letters for my GTS from them several months ago and still haven't received them. However they are sending me postcard updates stating they are still out of stock.

I ordered the same GTS nameplates from year one and It took 6 months...but the money came out right away....

Wow Year one does not seem to be very customer service oriented do they.

You all are loaning them your money interest free. Pretty good deal for them. Imagine how many people's money they have when you add them all up.

If they end up going belly up there will be a bunch of people getting screwed.

I ordered the same GTS nameplates from year one and It took 6 months...but the money came out right away....

I went ahead and cancelled my order yesterday. They don't need my money.

Came today... order Feb 18. Had to wait "only" 3months to receive! Still a great deal.
But... notice anything? Yup- missing the Jhook! Called and they said no problem, we will replace. But its backordered (again) ETA EARLY JULY!!! :banghead:
Oh well- they do look good tho... lets hope the chrome plating holds up.

Got an email, mine are now shipped . For the price I did not mind the wait (latches)
