What’s a 360 worth

-
I’ll be using a d66 with small
Ports, thus the reason I was looking for a small port LA318

360 prices are all over the place. i see guys saying that they can't give them away, others are asking stupid money for them. seem like they are selling for anywhere between 100-500 bucks. maybe location has a lot to do with it. they are getting harder to find.

Five minute Facebook search.

When I was buying/collecting, I didn't pass on a good deal knowing this stuff was going to go up....someday......but after awhile, I got to where I ran out of room......unless it was for free and then I made room lol. And no for me on any of the shots.
The $50 1 I didn't need whatsoever. But it was 50 bucks and it was really, really close by. And of course, when I was there. Can you take this 904 as well?...
The 360 motor mounts were still on which I ended up swapping those out for the makeshift driver side ones that I have on my duster.. worth 50 bucks... The heads I put on a running 318 that I bought for 50 bucks and sold that running engine with those 360 heads and that 904, that ended up being good for a 1000 dolhas as a nice running combination... saved the 360 block in the back of the shed for several years and now it's the stroker in my power wagon..
The $200 360 was a power wagon motor that the guy wanted to start for me on the ground to prove to me it was running and I said I'm trust ya... power wagon 727 attached to it...

I paid $400 for a 79 little red express motor and trans, turned around and sold it for $1,500 to a guy restoring one. Drove from Illinois to Georgia and he was happy to get it. It was real close in date code, but there’s nothing special about them. I was happy to sell it to the right buyer. He was grateful for the deal.

A 360 falls together at over 10.5 Scr with Kb107s and 63cc closed-chamber heads; so it's already on the fast track to performance. What's not to like about that?
I keep a couple of shorts around for spares, and sell the heads to stock-class racers.
Would I pay 400 for a torn-down core?
Well if I needed it, yes;
otherwise, if I gotta store it for just-in-case I blow mine up,
150 is too much for a fully assembled core.

I have a line on a 360 on FB Marketplace that is local to me. Appears to have the crank, heads, etc. It is completely disassembled thus I would call it a core. Casting number is 4006830-360. What’s it worth? He’s asking $400
The 360 I have I got for 150 dollars that was fully complete all the way to having the alternator on it with all the belts. Even though I tore it down and spent about 4000 grand on it but still.

I have a complete 1976 360. It did not come with heads. Turns over easy. I have a set of J heads that I was going to use on it. Motor needs rebuilding, not sure about the heads. $ 400. for both. I also have a 1994 magnum 360, That ran good when pulled. Have computer that came with it. $500. for magnum and computer. I have a garage full of extra 67 parts. I am in Northern, MI. Near Mackinaw bridge. 80000 miles on the magnum.
