Front caster camber bolt in backwards?
Yeah, when I read your post, I went out in garage and looked in my service manual.
It's not too clear in their illustration, but it makes sense . I have both front camber/caster bolts in backwards.
Good eye there!
I will correct that when I put my new arms in.
Thanks, cudamike13

Finished hooking up fuel lines a little squirt of mixed chain saw gas back fuel lines to help fuel pump and a shot in the carb and varoom she lives straight exhaust manifold only and the gauges are working! Had the wife help hold hood adjustment done and front grille in also well as good as I can several posts broke. New heater hoses was warming up and then oops a soft plug on driver rear of head leaking that's for another day.

watched my neighbor take a chisel and 10 bl sledge to his TRD rim in the front of his Toyota truck because he lost the gorilla lock splined key to his security lug nut. he got 4 of 5 off but the last one would not budge without the lock so he proceeded to try to chisel the nut off. I gave him a grinder and he ended up cutting a deep V around the lug and hitting the decimated rim off with the sledge hammer. I might have been able to MIG weld another nut to the end of the the security nut but he was already 2 of 5 spokes knocked out when I got home. Poor hub taking whacks from a 10 lb sledge probably killed the bearing.

Cleaned up and primed the bead areas on these used 15 x 8 Cragars, nice chrome and center caps on them yet.

Final clean up on these open chamber 318 heads after a 24 hour dunk in diesel fuel to dissolve the cabon in the chambers and ports.

Blasted and high temp painted these 318 truck exhaust manifolds. Going to be using these for the 318s and 360s on the engine run stand as both engines used the same exhaust manifolds.

Like the fact that they have an O2 sensor built in to help read the Air/Fuel ratios of the test engines.

Cleaned up '69 318 bell housing and primed it. Going to be using this for the engine run stand setup, so there is a bell housing for the starter mount.

Needless to say it was a day of cleaning up parts . . .

Ecm yesterday in the black Dakota. A muffler today in the white truck. Both repairs went pretty smooth. I think I'll stop for now and buy a lottery ticket. Luck is on my side.

Well after putting a new PTO belt on my cub cadet ,I mowed the yard. Then tackled the soft plug on drivers back of head soft plug, fortunately I had not installed my new master cylinder, so after 3hrs removed and replaced the soft plug. Tough to do in car .Didn't test for leaks 7PM dinner time!

Got in the Balance Plate today. Setting up to run engines on the engine stand. 318 neutral balance flywheel to run with the 318s, and same flywheel with the balance plate for the external balanced 360s.

130 tooth 318 flywheel.

Got a nice manual trans '69 318 bell housing here to make it all work.

Got the Perfect Line Up Buttons in today.

They hold the Felpro 1243 318 intake gaskets perfectly in place while bolting down the intake manifolds.

Work with the Edelbrock 360 intake gaskets too.

Heck of a way to have to get those plastic line up buttons at 13.00 a set, but hey they sure work nice.
