What Are You Doing To/With Your Car Today?

Trying to decide it's not easy to install with the roll bar..might just buy it and if someone buys it they can put it in..

How about making a one or two piece headliner that is glued/fastened in place. Like the newer cars have. You might even be able to go to a salvage yard and find one in a big vehicle, that you could trim down to size and recover...........I've done a few headliners on my flip cars, and the materials (fabric and glue) are usually less than $50.00 at your local upholstery supply shop.

Started rattle can restore on my 64 valiant's wheels.
Got one completed before beerthirty hit. LOL

Looking at it in the garage as I pass by on the mower. Back and forth....back and forth.

2 acres down, 3 to go!

Well it's not a car , It's a truck . But the last thing I just did was put some new sneakers on the Warlock . These 31/16.50.15's should do for now .

Throw a bench in the back and it will be a RUMBLE SEAT for sure. Good to see you over here for a change.

That's an idea ! I haven't really had much time lately even over at FTO . Between working on a couple offreinds cars , pecking at the Warlock and running back and forth to the Docs . I haven't gotten much computer time . You'll be happy to know that I road tested my tires the other day . There's now two black stripes in the road in front of my buddy's shop that's about 16 1/2" wide and about 60 feet long . lol That wasn't even from a stand still , I just tapped the go peddle at about 20 MPH and off it went in a cloud of smoke . lol

My grandson lives with us (for now) and his elementary school had their Spring Fling. They asked me to bring my car. There was an old school Ford pickup and Vette. Never did see any of the owners. Only three cars and a Monster Truck, but lots and lots of stuff for the kids. Only took our grandson 3 minutes to go to sleep once he hit the bed.

Hey Anders how ya been?.

I have a commercial Toro Z Master with a 60 inch deck. It takes me about 2 hours to mow 5 acres.
I'm good Bruce, very good. I hope the same goes for you.
Sounds like you're pretty well equipped. Better than me in many ways. I've got an old crusty GM322D but it has a 72" deck. Keeps my wrenching skills honed ...

Well, I hope to get some block prep finished today. It's cold and damp, so I will be confined to the garage, lol.

Besides, my Grandson said we need to work on the car today, in between video games and cartoons. :p

well.... I got the fuel lines all set the way I want them last night and realized this morning I never put the regulator in... duh-am-it.. brilliant! :BangHead: - soooo, guess I have some more tinkering to do there. I also got started on redoing the exhaust - not high on the "fun" meter, but it's gotta get done... turnin' wrenches!

Pulled the newly rebuilt carb back off today. Must have a piece of junk in the needle / seat causing it to flood bad. Now to pull it back apart,LOL

Dave,

Finding out I need to rewire everything under the dash!!

...at least the Fire Department wasn't involved...but here we go again $$$...

I cleaned my block a little better, and shot some paint on it to keep it from flashing over with rust. I cleaned it once, and it started to get messed up, it won't this time, lol.

A couple more coats.

That ought to keep it fairly clean for a minute.

Got the convertible out to sun the top and smooth the wrinkles! Not easy when it's only gonna be in the 40's!! Going to pull the motor today and replace it with the Commando that's in the blue car!!
