I fabbed an adapter plate (brackets are for booster) and got my master cylinder in place, bled and filled with DOT-5 stopping juice.
Ignorance, mostly. Higher number is better? At the risk of sounding ignorant why DOT 5? Is it that much better or does your set up have to have it? Very interested in advantages. I have to re-do my brakes, lines and all.
Seems I was actually correct this time, then. Great news!DOT-5 is silicone based fluid, and one huge advantage is that it will not destroy paint. DOT-5 is hydrophobic (will not absorb water). This stops a lot of corrosion in brake systems. One disadvantage is that you will have to bleed the system a couple times to remove all the air bubbles that seem to form in DOT-5.
You were correct, except it is silicone, not silicon. There is a big difference.Seems I was actually correct this time, then. Great news!
Protecting my brake system from rust is actually my main reason for getting it.
Good thing English is not my first language, then. You were correct, except it is silicone, not silicon. There is a big difference.
hard to see but in between the ll's in holley is the fuel level inside the float.you're imbalanced?
Cool. Are you leaving it stock or converting to digital?I bought a am/fm radio for my Swinger. I will be cleaning the radio to make it look closer to new.
