Sir, would you be willing to share the brand of trans cooler. Thanks
Looks good. I was nervous as hell doing my first one recently.
Looking great. ...well, except for. ....lolGot the t stat changed out. Also replaced the rad hoses and the by pass hoses since i had em off anyway. Still gotta put my clutch fan setup together and mount it.

^Lmfao look at the pic^
Guess what happened, i put the lower hose on, took off the t stat, cleaned the intake surface and water neck. Poured coolant in the intake until about a inch below the water neck flange. Assembled the t stat, put the upper hose on and filled up the rad, looked down and realized i forgot to pick the belt up and ran the lower rad hose through the belt lol. So needless to say i wasnt making another coolant mess so i now have a cut belt.
Its ok it was 5 years old anyway, for $20 im not taking the lower rad hose loose with full coolant in the system lol. So i will have me a new fan belt now, oh-well lol
Mine was built September 7th of 1967...just turned 50.My is about twice my age lol
For one with regular hose ends, the Trans-go I bought years ago has worked out fine. It came with transmission hose. Here's how I mounted it. So maybe that's an option.I would suggest you find something different.
Heh. Yesterday I switched out a 12si alternator in my Wagoneer and did close to the same. I had this new "94 amp" in a box for a year or two. I've done this swap 1/2 dozen to dozen times. Knowing it may not have clocked, I carefully checked that. But I didn't think about the pulley until I went to slip on the belts. Fortunately, I was able to swap the pulleys without removing it again - but timewise it was still a loss.Lol im too honest not to post it. Its a rookie mistake but not the end of the world. For some reason i only seem to do stuff like that on my vehicles and not anyone elses, whats up with that lol
Those look like the power steering fittings on all the late model "metric" stuff. The o-ring goes in the groove behind the last thread of that male fitting. O-ring kind of gets crushed into the groove and into the chamfer on the 1st thread of the female part. Supposed to be good for 1000 psi or something. That Cooler is a Top Street Performance P/N HC6354. I wouldn't recommend it though - the Inlet / Outlet fittings are "18mm x 1.5" and it was a pain in the *** to connect to as these threads aren't tapered, don't have any provision for an O ring etc. I finally found the AN/Metric fittings pictured, and then tracked down some Teflon washers to hopefully seal it.
I reached out to the Top Street Tech Dept about tracking down proper fittings and all I got was "Summit has them". Big Deal. The Pizza guy could have given me an answer like that.

I would suggest you find something different. I hope this thing doesn't leak on the "big day".
