is that cooler/fan in between the pump and the main tank? If so, that's a great idea!
Yes,
Piped straight from the compressor discharge to the cooler. Should keep the tank a lot cooler and trap a fair amount of the water before it gets to the tank.
Fan is 230v and comes on with the compressor (not enough amp draw to warrant an upgrade to the breaker).

I'm in the market for a new compressor, might have to stop by and have a look-see sometime soon, if ya don't mind? Is it pretty quiet like the reviews say?

Got things together enough to take the truck for a 5 mile test drive. Had a 6 cylinder/manual trans, converted to a 360 4 bbl with 727 automatic.
Put a new set of spider gears in the Diff as long as i was in the rear end checking that out too.

Front Bumper back on and installed the Mopar Brain box to get it ready for the road.

Out of the shop and went for a 5 mile test run. Runs out nice, no surprises, no leaks, exhaust with the H-Pipe and Cherry Bombs sounds great, has the Mopar Rapp when you get on it, and is not too loud. Very Happy

Also added Power Steering, glad I did drives so nice. No more armstrong method like when the 6 was in it.

Just great finishing up a large project, a few more things to button up. Then it is going to be my daily driver for chasing around, picking up parts.
Will be showing it on occasions, going to the local Cruise Ins with it too.

Really like the simplicity of these older trucks, plenty of room to work on things. No $800 in the tank fuel pump jobs to replace on these, $25.00 pump and easily change it in a half hour . . and good to go again. Not a Problem.

Old School . . That's the way to do it . . .

Nice Job!!!Does it have a factory tach?

Cool, I haven't had it running yet since I'm trenching a new power line to the garage this spring.

You asked if the truck has the factory tach, no it does not. Simple dash with Radio Delete, like that.

Have a tach wire already run to the interior and I am hooking up a small aftermarket tach today. Like to know the engine rpms at ground speeds to see where the engine is running at.

Going to dial in the speedo gear with GPS also, want to get that right. Think the speedo is running a little fast right now with the 3.55 gears. 727 trans came out of 76 pickup with 3.23 gears, so looks like I will be switching up to the "Yellow" speedo drive gear with running the 28" tires to get that correct.

I've had at least 6 of the old power wagons. Loved those old trucks.

Messing around trying to fill the screw holes in these old Centerlines. Going to try aluminum cold spray. We think we can make money with this system eventually so we are fooling around with it seeing what it can do.
