what the hell?!

Its warm on the east coast also.
Its always humid here in the mountains, but 95 degrees today, with 85% humidity is making me melt.

What feels worse when working outside

105 actual air temp with a dew point of 55

Or

90 actual air temp with a dew point of 72

It would feel much more "humid" on the 80 degree day with 50% relative humidity than on the 30 degree day with a 100% relative humidity. This is because of the higher dew point.

So if you want a real judge of just how "dry" or "humid" it will feel outside, look at the dew point instead of the RH. The higher the dew point, the muggier it will feel.

First off someone from southern California calling anywhere a s*** hole...
LOL...
Literally the blind can feel the global warming..
112° yesterday, 115° today...
Our AC is just able to keep it under 78° at the peak of the day... I don't think this system was built for temp's over 100°...

Oh no...I agree. Thanks to the Tards, Cali is turning into a s**t hole to. All the dem run states are.

It's really the physical area of where it's at and the lack of cleaning up. I live down in southern California as a kid for a couple years I can visit my dad from time to time in North hollywood. That's not the only area I should close myself to but everywhere I go everything from the lack of rain is just dirty just plain old dirty everything!

Around here again it's the relevance many of my neighbors at least half or more don't even have any sort of air conditioning as opposed to my neighbors in Florida who all did..
On the good side hot tub is not struggling to keep its temperature LOL...
I just opened the barbecue to flip the skewers and felt no heat wave coming from it LOL...

Pussies you should be down here in Florida. You Sweat walking out to your car.
are you inviting us down for Florida poontang. lol
you can keep the humidity and heat.
but I'll take the poontang. lol

taking my post waayy too seriously :)
no one knows, and the only way anyone is going to know for sure, is when we get there

Sorry ... I often hear people quote sources that are dubious . I myself sometimes start reading something that seams to support my position then 1/2 way thru start to wonder about the motives of the source . Hell I almost voted for Ross Perot ! Lol

Perot...
no problem...it's almost impossible to know if most "researchers" are legit since they need to keep publishing things that get them grants, so they don't want to piss off the $$ givers...nope, no chance of bias there

It's miserable in every corner of the country and in between. What's the point of arguing who has it worse?

It’s a “dry” heat in Arizona. So I hear. I spent some time in Tijeras New Mexico in 2015 and it’s the same heat there as it is here. HOT.

just to be different....
Cool, damp and rainy in Tijeras today, high of 61. Record lows across the state. Never seen anything like this, been here since the 70s. Really enjoying it!
Gotta love the weather, we can't explain nor control it.

I was surprised at how nice Tijeras is. I could live there. It’s pretty close o the climate and topography where I live now. ABQ was down the road but not on top of it.

Because that is what this country has come down to. A bunch of people that just plain like to argue about everything. "If you don't see it my way you should crawl in a hole and die". Really pretty disheartening.

I can’t agree with that one. I’m happy with the mornings and evenings, I sold my place in Pacific Grove 50-80, fog in the morning 10:00 gone and I liked it there too but people are hard to take most of the time. I’m in Foristell Mo right now and another cool morning

Ssssshhhh don't say "Global Warming" too loud or AL GORE is going to cash in AGAIN!!! LOL funny to hear insignificant humans THINK we matter in the grand scheme of the earth. Get your hand out of my pocket and I'll listen. Till then my goal is too leave a large carbon foot print!!!

It’s 72 degrees in my house. I’m allowed to run the air conditioner because I don’t have a damn electric car that needs charged.

Just south of Tijeras on RD 337 the elevation is higher and its a bit cooler, but the winters are still relatively mild. That's the place to be. Water is the only concern. It's all underground with only intermittent streams, and the level is dropping. So they say anyway.

I should have bought my retirement home during the drought scare. You couldn't sell up there. Now prices have tripled and there is no supply.
