Looking at a cam upgrade for my 5.9, at what point will the stock springs no longer cut it?
When should you replace magnum valve springs?

The were designed for, and adequate for a stock cam, but after thousands of miles and heat cycles, I dont even reuse them on stock rebuilds.
One day before they break !!!!! 
After the valves sink in the heads and lose seat pressure. Or the springs get hot from over heating the engine.
