World Series

Roberts is managing this game strategically. He's used three of his low leverage arms, while saving the high leverage guys for tomorrow. Meanwhile, the Yankees are burning their bullpen - after using 7 yesterday. They better hope Cole has it going tomorrow, if it gets that far. The margin for error is slim.

Whenever I get sick of it, I just look up Bugs Bunny on Youtube playing the "Gashouse Gorillas" from 1946...

Two New York Yankees fans have been banned from attending Game 5 of the World Series after interfering with Los Angeles Dodgers star Mookie Betts in Game 4.

The Yankees announced in a statement Wednesday that the fans "will not be permitted to attend tonight's game in any capacity" and added that the incident Tuesday night with Betts was "egregious and unacceptable."

Far out man...go Yankees...
That's a dream in my book. As an old screw and fan I was always a believer that The National League was tougher as pitchers had to bat with no BS designated hitter once upon a time and some pitchers could really protect the plate and do their job.

That's it!
Dodgers win! Dodgers win! Thuhuhuhuh Dodgers wiiiiin!
(With apologies to John Sterling).

One of my favorites from a few years ago.

So glad the 9th was semi-stress free for Buehler. Not sure my heart could've handled any traffic on the bases with the top of their line up waiting.
I was thinking they brought Treinen in too early, that they were going to be one pitcher short.
