Stop in for a cup of coffee

a few years ago, I had a dodge ram 1500 with a 4.7 and it was JUNK.

I went into the Colorado mountains to pick up a dart and the Ram almost had a heart attack on the steep grade and almost lost it LOL

No power, no torque and it has to keep downshifting to keep up and with a load it was a nitemare chore to get to the top of the hill. Because of the constant downshifting, the fuel mileage went to crap and still had no power.

I would rather pay extra to feed the 460 and not have to worry about losing power. These Colorado mountain passes can get brutal with extremely high altitude and severe lack of oxygen.
4.7 is too small

last time I checked on flat land with a trailer and a dart on the trailer, 460 was doing 14 MPG pretty consistent

Hi Chris, Rani, Mike!

Man, I just watched the brand new Roadkill episode on MTOD. Stubby Bob with a blown big block Chevy on the back. One of the best episodes ever, hands down.

I was thinking about a diesel a few years ago but one main reason I stay with the ford is because the ford is actually a really decent truck ....my dad bought it in the early 90s so I know it's history and he took pretty good care of it.

It was spared the hard "farm truck" duty. He has a couple diesels out on the farm but those trucks get beat up pretty good.

NEW ROADKILL?!!?!

My big daughter has three friends staying over, they're sleeping in tents in the garden. Half an hour ago she came in and said a couple of guys were asking questions about my car. Turns out it was two of their classmates. So I went out and chatted a little. Sweet kids and it was fun but it would be more fun to chat with someone who at least knows what the words mean.

Wait....you're letting guys "sleep" in tents next to your daughter? brave man

Hi guys, just checking in. I shipped Ramie's carb out today and thought I'd share the fun-fact that a 1406 Edelbrock 600 cfm carb weights 9.5 lbs.

Now you know...:D

Well the Pop is legal again this year and seems fine when I went for a FULL tank of gas! Way less fun to drive when it is legal though!

Hoodwinked?
Look, these boys are thirteen, not fifteen. They don't even have pimples yet and the girls are a head taller than them.
And chastity belt is kyskhetsbälte in Swedish. :)

That is cool that girls and boys can be friends .....where and when i grew up, the two didn't even socialize together.

It was kinda weird when i first started dealing with boys because they seemed like aliens and i was a bit afraid of them. That is not really a way to live. I think it's better to be friends from a young age
