Late A headers on an early A (smallblock)

dual exhaust with the stock 273 manifolds will work pretty good; with the least amount of work. If your going Racing that is not going to make as much extra power as you want. ;) I built a 318 and used the 273 manifolds worked good for me. 1964 Valiant dual exhaust - YouTube

You have done a Lotta work on the floor, wow, best wishes with the project. :) The floor looked almost as bad as a RockSalt -belt Northeast car, but, the fenders and hood are still there. The Valiant I had came from California, it was a joy to work on a not rusty car.

Any Early A with Electric Fans?

No such luck, bought the fan over 10 years ago, when I had a '67 Camaro that overheated in traffic jams. Replaced the radiator in the Camaro with a large Griffin and added a shroud, and solved the cooling issues. I think it was a 12 inch fan, and prob bought it at Advance Auto...

    Thoughts on Hood Insulation

I thought it was mostly to make the car quieter. Rare to see hood insulation on a Valiant 100 w /6. BTW the factory carpet and padding did not go under the rear seat of my '64 Valiant Signet, and when i added sound deadner to the car it made the whole car Much quieter. :)

Any Early A with Electric Fans?

    Test fit fail!

;) Lots of stuff is harder to make work in the Early-A cars, exhaust, cooling, wipers, wheels, many things. :( Besides the Early-A car being smaller; The radiator opening is extra small in the pre '65 cars.
