I've got the same distributor and I set mine for about 14* on a dist. machine. I can take the measurement between the plate and the stop and give you that number. @halifaxhops told me that these distributors were sold with a set of "keys". Basically different thicknesses to correspond to...
Pretty straight forward.....Some 2x2 I had kicking around, some old gauges and an extra K frame. It was fun to wire......You get to really understand how the system works. Good luck.
Here's what I have. All function as designed. Shoot me a PM if you are interested....I have close up pics. of their faces. $75 shipped for either #1 or #2 and $100 shipped for #3.
Thanks....Got the hole figured out, but the lower booster support strut has to be navigated. Looks like the feedback from this thread has me pointing in the right direction.
Thanks All.
LOL......A buddy of mine gets paid $20 per hour (10 years ago) to change lights on the CN Tower in Toronto. In actual fact, he'd probably pay them to get out there.
Hi Folks
Trying to figure out if the speedo. cable passes to the driver side or passenger side of the booster's vertical support strut on it's way down the firewall.
Thanks FABO
Those other manufacturers don have "FOR A BODIES ONLY" With a few basic tools and some mechanical aptitude (learning in your class), you'll have no issues. The support on this site is fabulous with lots of folks willing to share their expertise. Good luck
I have various resisters here measuring anywhere from .5 to 1.2 ohms. Is there a target number that you look for when adding primary coil resistance and ballast resistance for an optimal combo?
Hi Folks
1971 Demon with Hi Rev 7500 4 pin box and single ballast.
I have a NOS Accel coil from 1999 with a measured primary resistance of 1.2 ohms. Will the system function as designed if I use it?
(I forget the number, but it is not the plastic Super Coil)
Thanks FABO
Thanks for the reply. Is there any chance that you have any pics from the 90 degree bend at the seat bracket to the rear diff? Trying to get an idea as to where they are suppose to run along the rocker and rear wheel housing/rear frame rail.
Hi Folks
Does anyone have a clear pic or two showing rear brake line, and e brake cable routing? My e brake is the set-up that has the main cable that connects to the 2 rear cables just in front of the left rear tire.
Thanks FABO
