That makes more sense = 131.76 in the 11's did not to me particularly for a Superstocker.

MR. PERFACAR: Send me a link to the Video of that 131.76 pass please AND I will buy you the best Dinner in your town!! I know what class Matt runs = I am fairly familiar with most of the Mopar Superstocks that currently are active racing NHRA today. I have raced Superstock for over 60 years.

    SS/K 1965 Valiant

You are my Buddy don't get me wrong = BUT Apples to Oranges comparison! Your car is not a 273 engine with stock compression/Tiny carb/Production Iron Heads with stock CCs My STOCK Z06 runs 130MPH plus also but that is not an equal comparison either as it IS 650HP. If you could get 400HP out...

Don't read if you're close minded

A 4150 Holley 1050 DID NOT flow nearly as well as a 1050 Dominator on my friend's Wet flow Carb Bench. I have no explaination on how Holley could rate them the same except if the have different standard that they go by?

    SS/K 1965 Valiant

I love the car but I can not believe 131.76! I believe we have the quickest and fastest SS/KA Mopar ever racing in NHRA and we do have a bunch of class Wallys that would indicate that statement. It runs high 9's and low 10's when we are required depending on the track and it runs 129 MPH...

David Vizard - Which to prioritize - PORT FLOW or PORT VELOCITY?

Allegedly stock ports. Well, they DO check @ stock runner CCs specification if not configuration. I better leave it at that!

David Vizard - Which to prioritize - PORT FLOW or PORT VELOCITY?

Often, We have gotten Greedy on the ports in both the heads and intake and the turbulence has not only wiped out any gains but really cost me power on the Dyno and on the Track! I have turned some extremely good parts into only so/so stuff.

David Vizard - Which to prioritize - PORT FLOW or PORT VELOCITY?

Port Turbulence is a important component that is often overlooked

Don't read if you're close minded

My experience with a dominator on a dual plain were not very successful even on a Big block. The 440 engine in my Valiant is only a 500HP high 10 Second combo. It was not any slower but not any faster than a 950HP Holley and the drivability was worse!
