What is the best/worst you've done when selling at a swap meet?

Last year at Indy was great! Lots of buyers/sellers what a contrast this year.

    Florida sniper does it right

Poor guy, he probably lost his job at McDonald’s or couldn’t pay his college loan. I’m sure he had no choice and his family was living in a tent. Or maybe a new immigrant that had not yet received his social security check.

Need a solution for a problem.

Yep, if you research /6 318 you will find guys that want these great little engines to perform like a 340 440 or even 426. And you will find it takes money time and engineering and yes all of the above! The arguments are all over the place but the common denominators are-money-time-engineering...

Am I crazy or is this project Duster way overpriced?

If you really want to know why the aftermarket don’t follow Chrysler products, just look at the ones that”supposedly” love these cars. It’s called” money” and how they won’t buy parts or cars unless they are” cheap” but high quality

Am I crazy or is this project Duster way overpriced?

We all have our”I remember when they were$50.00”!!! I really don’t know how many cars trucks I have bought and sold. “IF” it was your car 15 would be reasonable but since it is” someone else’s” it’s too expensive. I priced my lil red SE for 22 to a guy and just like you he just about had a heart...

    Stroke a 318

Well good luck. I passed on a 318 build one of the guys started but didn’t finish. The old adage is if you put a million dollars into a Volkswagen you will have the fastest and most expensive Volkswagen in town. Just make sure the end justifies the means

Some members just like to play games

I have no idea how you would get the human element out of it. But like you sometimes it just helps to vent. I remember the time I joined this page I was talking to one of the good members and discussing my builds. Then someone was trying to help another member with free parts and I got involved...

Unpopular opinion. I'm so frustrated I hate car shows/cruises.

I went to the swap meet In Springfield mo and it sure seems like the interest is not as it used to be. But the Indy meet was great. I like to go to the cruises and shows, some of my cars are not finished and I don’t detail them before I go. Wash and shine is all they get. My Packardhawk gets a...

Yes they did, and I didn’t know them. It has been five years since I have had this car to a show. It seems all they want to do is discredit the car.

Unpopular opinion. I'm so frustrated I hate car shows/cruises.

Yep-I have oddball’s and I like them. Last weekend I drove my M code to the local Freddie’s cruise and as usual one of the numbers guru’s had the door open and hood up when I got back outside. And once again nothing was correct.

    More UTG ignorance and mis-information

I have bought parts from him and they were as advertised. Sometimes I do watch, but I’m one of the guys that payed 200 to ride around Laguna Seca with Carroll Shelby in his first cobra. I’m not saying that Tony is in the same league but that car is a tin can on wheels. It’s entertainment if you...

A different perspective on "THE BLACK GHOST" by UTG.

Wow, I just read through this thread and it really looks like Tony is the winner. He may not be the most intellectual giant but he certainly has your interest and I’m sure in his business that is#1

We now have the best system on earth. Necessity is the mother of invention. Maybe one day fairy dust will power us-just like Peter Pan and we will no longer need vehicles.
