Manual steering box with the right pitman arm. Steering box can be from multiple cars including Dusters, Darts, Chargers, Satellites etc etc. You'll either need the adapter (new 117 from ebay), a manual steering column, or lock a grip pliers on your current column and pound it down. Manual...

Small bolt to big bolt pattern

I actually ran the adaptors on the back of a dart sport for years. Never an issue with them coming lose, and a lot of street miles. Car went into the 12's. I actually liked how they "widened" the rear a little, took away the "backwards" 3-wheeler look, sort of. However, never ran them on...

Bone head Tbar question and issues

After years and years in this hobby, I put a +/- 4 degree timing chain on wrong, lining up the "0" on the crank key other than the "0" by the tooth. Car ran idled and ran but wouldn't crawl past a slant six in a 4x4 pickup... LOL. It happens to us all.........

power column with manual box??? can it be done?

Thanks, this is good to know! like a say, I did it once, but wasn't sure. There are hundreds spent every year by Mopar folks buying the "power to manual steering" adapter. I've bought 2 within the last year. Nice to know these aren't needed. MOPAR: Steering Column ADAPTER PS to Manual A-Body...

power column with manual box??? can it be done?

I did this once. This exact same way. I locked a grip plyers under the hood and pounded it down with a hammer until I reached the manual steering box. The only thing, is, I was always wondering how much splines I was really driving on?????????? Perhaps Whitepunkonnitro could answer this...

6 pt bar on street car

weld-in frame connectors. If your 80% street and it's a family toy (A+ to that), then skip the cage. Your not going crazy with kids in the car anyways, and kids grow in a hurry. On test and tune nights, sometimes they will look past a low 11 second street car without a cage at certain strips...

    Squeaky Front End

Often times that is the strut rod bushings. Open your hood and look down at the K-frame. the two huge rubber bushings on each side are attached to the strut rod. These are very squeaky when they get dry rotted. soak them with penetrating oil and see if it goes away. Trust me, it will come...

    Pump It Down....EASY

A little off topic, but I always got my "firmer" feel by going manual. :steering: 40 lbs lighter, eliminates a belt, gobs more room on the drivers side, faster to pull or install the motor, ....... AND.... the firm feel :D
