Keep it out of detonation and you'll be fine. They get used all the time on mild turbo and nitrous builds. I'd only start to worry about them if you're going over 15 psi or so - and even then, that's a maybe.

Probably either over-filled, or more likely is that the the converter anti-drainback valve quit working, and so, now, when you park the vehicle, the convertor drains back into the trans, raising the fluid level up to the rear seal. Normally, there is very little oil at that rear seal. Normally...

Agree looks like a spacer in there . I have a hemi in my charger had to remove the 1” spacers to get hood to close as well.

Looks like a pretty thick spacer under the carb. You might want to try a little thinner one.

Why are you replacing alternator? Roundback or square back?

There's a lot of it going around. THere's 4 or 5 of them sick at the wife's office and it seems they all caught it in different places.

Now that I am off my phone and on my laptop I can see the difference. THe last one he posted is a unsilenced air cleaner. You can mess with the height on those by trying different base plates. Like you said, the top photos are a 70/71
