    Have you ever lost

I've been hearing this same story a lot lately. Whatever you decide to do you can always buy another car  I've found having a simple combo, stick shift, with street gears keeps my interest at a high level.

    Passenger Side Heater/Vent Door Question

Might need some heat. If you can't get it to break free with heat, maybe drill the hinge rivets if you can find replacements that are that small? It might just be too far gone.

Great! I'm glad it worked out well and that you are happy with it. That shifter will be just fine for your car, and the way you will probably drive it. If you had a high horse power 340 Demon and hot rodded it around a lot, then sure, a Hurst shifter would be better suited. But for a nice driver...

    Flooding AVS2 - What am I missing?

Quite a few years ago I had pretty much the same problem. 1 of the seats wasn’t tight in the air horn. Loose by about a thread or so. Fuel was getting past the threads and making it flood. Tightened the seat then no more flooding. Yet it sealed when inverted. Also seen that if the needle has a...

:thankyou: JD Just arrived at home. The car (and the transmission) work perfectly. The Inland shifter isn't so bad... Maybe that this transmission didn't work a lot during its history and the shifter mechanism isn't too much loose (I've known worst with some european cars :D). As the 833 comes...

I went to a local car show that was held in a Motel parking lot :realcrazy: Some very nice cars attended. This one Willys coupe really got my attention, "Man that thing looks familiar". I looked long and carefully at it. Fella walks up behind me and says "If you're thinking Stone, Woods, and...

    Passenger Side Heater/Vent Door Question

j_anderson I did soak the door in Evaporust overnight when I de-rusted all the internal doors and clips. It didn't seem to help much. I have also tried to squirt in some PTFE dry lube to see if that helps (still working on that). When I repaired the corner, I cut a piece of steel to fit into the...

UPDATE - Looks so good but ya can't shut the hood

Yup its usually a spacer or the intake is too high issue. Fun snippet of info the Edelbrock Torker while it is not popular for some was a low rise single plane that was designed to fit under a street car hood...:)

Regarding Cheeseburger Day. According to the internet news many fast food places have specials today, if you use their "App". For those of us that choose not to have the necessary equipment or those that perhaps can't afford that technology :icon_fU:

    Have you ever lost

Back when I was a rabid Audiophile a good Audio-buddy of mine (who was on his way out of the hobby) said something I've never forgotten: "I'd rather live my life with music, than for music". I forget that every now and then, but thankfully it pops into my feeble brain every so often to remind...
