    Squeeling poverty hub caps??

Yeah, strange, I thought the lug nuts were not tight. Popped the caps, re-torqued and went for a ride. No noise. Put the caps back on and the noise was back. Just a thought, what disc brakes you using? the 73 up Mopar sliding caliper,if the pads are not tight will squeek. You can bend the ears on...

    Squeeling poverty hub caps??

Yes. Only once. More of a creek sound.Same as you I did the "What the heck?" Factory wheels and caps.Mostly heard at slow speeds. A touch of silicone on the nubs cured it. Never had any others do it.

Are the Cragar SS wheels the best looking option for 1967-70 Darts?

I agree. You like what you like. Cragars like Torque Thrust are time less. Always been a fan of mix match of any aftermarket front and steelies rear. I like old school chrome or aluminum slots on the front. Not seen often anymore. Depending on back space, width, and tire size 18'' will fit. Just...

    Two-door sedan windlace

mopowers, I believe it was the Precision. As usual prices have gone way up in 6 years. At $24 still beats the resto prices of over $100.But if you want any color than black, well.

    Two-door sedan windlace

I did a 64 Dart. Ordered from Rock Auto wind lace for a 88 Dodge Ram pickup. $13 a door. Worked great. Used the same wind lace when I did my 63 Belvedere 4 door.

    Anybody running 276 gears?

In the 70's I would drive from Pittsburgh to Denver with a 70 4 speed Duster. Ruffly 1400 miles. Pull the 3.91's out, install 2.94. Get to Denver and swap the 3.91's back in. 4 times a year. As a teen thought nothing of doing the swap.

    Early Darts Getting Recognition

Agree with that statement. The high cost of EVERYTHING is my excuse. Not just car stuff. I'm cheap and I know it. The older I get I just backed off of the car stuff. Still a 63 Valiant may get the sparks flying.

    Clifford Performance

This may be a rumor so don't hold me to it. TTI makes the Clifford headers. They only make a run of them after Clifford meets the 25 minimum . I heard this years ago.

    Torque converter with slant six

My drag car had a 4500 stall. For street used a 3500. Same as Charrlie_S. I had a special converter made. Hughes transmissions did a small pilot/big spline for me. Tho I never ran Edge,I understand several Slant racers are happy with their converters.

    Clifford Performance

I met Jack at a SEMA show a year so so before he passed. He invited me down to his shop/warehouse when it was in So.Cal. What a cool guy, took time to show me around and helped me with what I needed. I was green about Slants and told him what I planed. He simply said build for torque, not RPM. I...

Electric Power Steering conversion kit question

A member here (Haven't seen for many months) did that EPAS kit to a 68 Valiant. Apparently it works fine.
