    Faceplated 833 4 Speed

It's holding up fine. I drive it probably 7,000 - 8,000 miles per year. I always use the clutch, regardless if I'm granny shifting, or shifting it hard. For downshifting, I blip the throttle to rev match and it smoothly goes out of/into gear. It's been on my mind to pull the cover and take a...

    Oil Filter Securement

Exactly..I have many 100's of thousands of miles on motorcycles, on and off the track. A bike doesn't leave the pits without critical parts properly torqued, and safety wired. As I racked up more miles on bikes, I began treating them as you would an airplane. Those habits carried over to my cars.

    Oil Filter Securement

Many years ago, I had an oil filter spin off of the freshly rebuilt motor of my motorcycle, which lead to a re-rebuild. Ever since then, all of my vehicles get the oil filter secured. My Duster and the wife's 300 are easy enough. A hose clamp in the right place without needing safety wire makes...

    1967 Dodge Dart Post

You say that you drive it a few times per week?? As you drive it, ask yourself what you like the least about driving it. Lack of power? Start with an engine swap.... Poor handling? Start with suspension upgrades... YOU are the only person that can give yourself a starting point as far as...

Power to Manual Brakes - D150

I used the normal 4 bolt to 2 bolt adapter from Mancini on my 1977 D100, when going from power to manual, same adapter as I used on both my A bodies. I used a 1.0625" and the pedal is really hard, with very little travel. Adjust bore size to suit your preference for pedal feel..I think power...

Testing HVAC Controls On 1975 Scamp

1975 Scamp factory a/c. Is it possible for the HVA. controls in the dash to have a vacuum leak, and cause a lean condition ? If vacuum is applied to the vacuum line that controls the water valve, should it hold the vacuum, if it doesn't, does that mean that there is a leak in the dash controls ?

Blank canvas, steel sided 40x60 pole barn. Thoughts on insulating, electrical, heating???

I had a 30x40x8 garage in Ohio that was fully finished with blow in insulation in the attic, bat in the walls and fully drywalled. I used a wood pellet stove, and one night when it was 10 below zero, out of curiosity I cranked up the stove, and had the thermometer well over 85 degrees within an...

ii had a 30x50 with 12' walls and 16'ish at the peak wood fram and metal siding. I used the prodex from the link. I I stapled it floor to ceiling and taped the seams with foil tape. I think it helped somewhat with keeping the mid day Houston heat out, but it certainly cut down on the drafts...
