    Maybe your's is missing, but there is a metal strap that clips onto the fuel line nipple at the sender and bridges the flex line and then clips to the metal line again, grounding the fuel line.

    I run the 3.55 sure grip. With the 14" tires I feel it is the better compromise between quicker acceleration and freeway speeds (3000RPM at 65mph).

    Why are your pads wearing unevenly? The pistons have limited travel. New pads will correct this by pushing the pistons back in the bores.

    In 1968 it was lights only. The front bulb is captured within the housing whereas the rear light bulb and socket are part of the wire loom. We can thank the federal government for these.

    There is a retaining clip (a weird shaped wire clip) that locates the plastic bushing. Look at exploded view of linkage and z-bar bushings.

    There is no way to know, But I was at the dealership checking in the cars and can tell you that is an unusual color as well as my dark green as I had to special order it. Nice car.

    Take a full compression check. Then squirt oil in #2,4,6,8. Does compression increase significantly in those cylinders? If not, then you have bad valve guides and seals.

    Pull out the cable from the dash end, there is a ferrel crimped on the cable that prevents it from moving. Usually the problem is a bad cable but you should check the end of the cable for being too long and interfering with the head. Grind off the tip to a point. Remove the cable and put one end...
