First Time Going To Columbus Mopar Nats

How do you know where to "set up shop" so to speak? I plan on going through race tech first then finding a spot to park the car and set up my canopy. Is it just hunt and find a spot?

First Time Going To Columbus Mopar Nats

Okay, my son and I are taking our 74 Duster to the Mopar Nats for the first time. Does anyone out there have any tips on what to do and how to do it? We are getting there Thursday and taking the car thru race tech then we really don't know what to do after that. Any help is appreciated.

Yet Again Another Dash Gauge Question

Okay I know this gets covered a bunch but searching the posts I could not find this answer: 1974 Duster - does anyone have a NAPA or other parts house part number for the dashboard gauge cluster voltage regulator? All I get is blank stares and half- hearted attempts to look it up from the...

    Yes good point

    Is this enough compressor?

All I would chime in and say is make darn sure it's a two stage compressor. Tank size is a small consideration to me. It has to be a two stage compressor to keep up with a paint gun or it will run itself to death. My compressor will go clear down to 15psi and still run my DA sander.

    Wanted: Trans Kick Down Rod

Part Found! Man, I can't believe this but as I was taking another look at my linkage situation, I saw the missing rod laying in a tangle down in the shifter linkage behind the transmission. It was wedged in there hidden from view...lol I bought the car last spring and haven't done much to it...

    windshield install question

I would have to say that it depends on the condition of the frame around the opening where the seal goes. I mean if it is in really good condition (no rust pitting, rust outs, dents, other damage) then the seal should not need sealer. I always make sure to repair any damage before I set a glass...

    windshield install question

Many older seals for windshields and back glass for that matter do not use a sealant when being installed. If it is a rubber seal that fits around the glass and is the type that can be installed with a rope there is no need for sealant. I've done a lot of them that way and never had a leak yet...

    Torsion bars

Oh yeah ain't that the truth. All my friends drove cars that turned out to be worth $$$ now. Let's see, my best friend had a '71 Demon, another friend had a '69 Mustang fastback, another guy had a '71 Torino....the list goes on and on. Our school parking lot would've looked like a car show...

    Torsion bars

The car will be mostly street driven with the occasional trip to the strip maybe once or twice a summer. Jeg's lists .810, .890 and .920 size bars. I was thinking .890 bars but am really not familiar with making a decision on this. I would like it to have a firm front suspension but not real stiff.

Ha, yeah that's what I'm afraid of....lol Well I guess all I can hope for is that the bolt came loose if they lowered the front end on it ya know? Otherwise, I'm sure I'll be cussing it. Good thing is, I can take it to school and put it on the lift this weekend so at least I'm not rolling...
