I did that on my Duster to center the wheel/tire in the rear opening. The leaf spring shock plate will need reworked to move it back with axle as well.

Relocate, drilling would not allow the perches to properly center onto leaf springs. Just my thoughts.

I agree with Bodyperson, hawks are pretty aggressive. We had one the other day crash into our picture window chasing the dove laying beside it on the ground. Large crash, I thought my wife fell. Wish they get after them little annoying chipmunks.

Amish built my shop… very impressed with their quality of work plus how efficient they had it put up. Also did the doors and concrete floor. They live all around these parts of northeast Ohio.

I had the unfortunate opportunity to learn from this very mistake in the past. This is what I have displayed in my garage to remind me to never take short cuts, measure twice, don’t get frustrated, walk away if you have too, make it right! Expensive lesson for sure!

We haven’t touched it in 2+ years since we moved. It has been in a storage unit waiting for my shop to be built. Shop built, moving car this month, weather permitting, and getting after it for the new year.
