Replace turn signal lever plastic end

The end of mine does have a silver insert. The whole column is apart too, so I should be able to work it off.

Replace turn signal lever plastic end

I've been rebuilding my steering column and left the turn signal lever laying on a table. The dog got it and chewed up the plastic end. Can I get a new end piece or do I need the whole lever? If I can get one, where can I find one? My car is a 73 Duster. Thanks.

    Fuel tank anchors

I have some ok ones I cut out of mine I can clean up. I didn't like how sloppy the welds looked. I'd like to get a new set to save some work for myself.

    Fuel tank anchors

Does anyone know where I can get a pair of new fuel tank anchors? By that, I mean the little tabs that weld to the bottom of the spare tire well for the tank strap j bolts to slip into. I know they're out there, but I've had no luck for the past few days finding them.

It looks like Eastwood might be ignoring their own site and going with Facebook likes now. So there might be a second chance. http://www.facebook.com/eastwoodcompany?ref=ts http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=193237&id=89825138704

    Help me win!

I'm sure a good bit of both entries votes were padded up. I know a lot of people were playing by the rules, but I've even caught some of my friends voting multiple times. That's just not how I want to win and I don't think FABO would want to be cast in that light. It's just a silly contest and I...

    Help me win!

Guys, I appreciate all the enthusiasm, but I've asked Eastwood to remove my entry into this month's competition. It's just gotten way out of hand with competitors stacking the deck against each other and some of the postings on each of our Eastwood pages. Hopefully Eastwood will implement a...

Chrome fender tag - is is acceptable?

Zinc plated it and I think it came out pretty nice. Second picture is after some polishing. Pictures don't really do the polish justice. It looks great in person. Not as nice as chrome, but close enough.

Chrome fender tag - is is acceptable?

Well as long as it isn't blasphemy, I'm going for it. Thanks for the input.

Chrome fender tag - is is acceptable?

I unscrewed my fender tag today and cleaned it up. Now I'm wondering what's considered acceptable to prevent it from rusting. I was thinking of electroplating and polishing it up like chrome, but how would people look upon that? I could clear it or paint it, but I think it would look nice all shiny.

Ok, that GMC guy is inflating his own votes. As soon as the votes got within 15 his started shooting up by 1 every time i refreshed the page. He's clearing out his cache and voting again and again.

Wondering if you guys would be kind enough to give my car a thumbs up for Eastwood's car of the month. I was doing pretty good, but this GMC truck showed up and blasted past me in 2 days. Thanks for any help! http://rides.eastwood.com/car_of_the_month/Dusted-73-1973-Plymouth-Duster-386.html

I always see these installed, the kind of master cylinder with the metal bottom with plastic reservoir. Where is everyone getting these and what is required to swap over to one? I have all stock brakes. Front discs rear drums with power.

    Pertronix 600 rev limiter

That is a good point you make, but I'm also concerned with being able to service the system should something fail. In 5 years will I be able to find another box like it or will I have to install something new again? I've been looking at units like you have and am interested, but I'm also not...
