So I want to put some sound deadener on the floors and in the trunk area. A buddy of mine used peel & stick from home depot and seems pretty good. I was also toying with the idea of lizard skin. Anyone ever use the lizard skin before?

IIRC when I bought my insert for my scamp from classic industries it was only $20 or $25. The E body ones will not interchange.

So I sent out my dash to be painted and they removed the VIN tag. I wish they didn't because I know that one of the rivets had like a little penta star in the head. Is there anywhere I can get replicated rivets?

I used POR 15 for the my floors as well as spray on bedliner. The bed liner stuff will help dampen road noise. I think your better off using the POR 15 instead of epoxying it.

To each their own. There's no need to shoot the messenger. I was just putting it out there for those of us that have a hard time trying to source a set of tracks. I think the reason for them not working on 73-76 is because the floors are a little different.

I didn't have the seats when I welded the plates in. I read at least five threads of people converting from bench to bucket and all had said they just drilled where the factory dimpled the floor. Looked pretty straight forward to me.

I bought these buckets from someone who had them in his 70 Dart. I tried to test fit them today and the tracks are about 2 inches too narrow. Ya the only shop that's willing to touch it even told me to buy a new one if I can find one under $300 because it would cost me around $200-$250 for them to refinish it with no guarantee that it will look the same. I think I'm just going to buy one from B/E&A Resto.

So your saying they are the correct seats but different covers? I noticed that most of the mopar buckets look like the same basic shape. Does this mean that I could use any cover I wanted to?

I know what your talking about but when I looked at the new covers from Year One the seat bottom stitching isn't even all the way across like mine are. There are wider areas between the stitching towards the outside of the seat on the replacements.

The backs are of hard plastic and use to be the baby **** green color but have been painted black.
