I ran the numbers today. With the 2.76 gears and 26" tires I can run 81mph in 4th gear at 2k rpm. I think its time to look into changing gears.

Have to make a new transmission mount and do some massaging of the torsion bar cross brace. Not sure about the tunnel itself. I will soon find out.

After your last call with him I would have canceled the order. His customer service seems to be severely lacking. What happens if you have issues with the transmission? I wouldn't expect any better communication or help from him then what your getting now.

Yeah, I needed the room for the electric fan. I never got around to cleaning up the support clearance job and making it look decent. The inlet and outlet on the cooler are pointed down. The metal lines go through the radiator support and hug the bottom of the engine bay by the steering sector...

This is how I did mine. Made a couple brackets out of steel and bolted it in front of the radiator. its missing the one that comes down from the radiator support. It was rock solid when all bolted in and you can't see it with the grill on. The only picture I could easily find of it...

I would love to do that but just the gear vendors OD alone pretty much doubles my expense. Will a 518 bolt up to a 360 or will I need an adapter plate? Man I've got so much research do to.

What OD transmission can I use that when built will hold up to 650-700 ft lbs and bolt up to a non magnum 360? Can a 500 or 518 be built to hold that much torque? I would really like to stay away from electronically controlled transmission. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I currently have a 904 that is behind a 318 that is getting turbo'd. My plan is to run roughly 550hp/600tq at a later date using a 360. Is it worth the time and money to build up the 904 or would the 727 be the better route to go? Next question... If i stall the 904 that same stall will work on...
