i did not weld that bracket on. thanks for the heads up, i will keep an eye on them. i plan to pull the front end apart to put LBP discs on and sand blast/paint the whole front end in the spring time. maybe at that point ill weld up those tabs and refine the front mounts.

ya i saw that those will bolt right to the shock mounts. but for the k frame mounts the kit came with an L bracket that can be welded(or drilled and bolted for that matter) to the bottom of the K frame to create a second whole for the clamp mounts to bolt to. I should be able to clear all this...

i have seen some nice mounts, but i dont want to wait to order more parts or spend the money. i think i have it figured out to where i can flip flop the design and get the bar higher than the bottom of the K frame, might be close to the harmonic balancer but it looks like it should work. going...

yea if you had a factory sway bar car it would have wholes....but not too many factory sway bar car owners are doing this install.

ya mine are tilted up in the front so with the car's natural rake they seem to be about level for your forearm and then the backs are pretty much horizontal. but ive seen other cars with them horizontal in the front too. maybe it could be what someone else wrote that other year arm rests the...

My 64 barracuda has a 318 in it right now, came in the car when i bought it and i dont think it has the bushing because i do get vibration at certain rpms. have my bushing being shipped tomorrow, one step closer to putting the 360 in.

If you dont have Brass Freeze plugs you might have one with a hole in it. easy fix if its that! check the back of the block and heads, the hard ones to get to always go first.
