    New guy from PA

I have never done an engine on a budget, but plenty of guys on here have. Hell I see tons of wonderful spray bombs pop up all over. I machine and balance everything, all new parts for what needs replaced. On the other hand, tear it down, replace gaskets and seals. Pick up a new HV oil pump...

FINALLY got my A body/First MOPAR!

I have gotten good clips off eBay in bulk for front and rear. Seals can be tricky when advertised as 67-76 A body....not all the same. I used Steele rubber. Interior and under hood screw and bolt kits from a place called Mr Gs.

FINALLY got my A body/First MOPAR!

Nice! Welcome....love a blue car....you hit the ground running. My suggestion is not to mess with trim clips unless you are ready to paint. At that point, pull the windows, pull the seals, clean and paint prep, clips, new seals, reinstall windows, paint rest of car.

    1974 Dart swinger

I almost bought that car! Just couldn't justify it since I was selling everything I was not going to get to in the next year! I sold my full front V8 disc swap, but if I find another I will let you know. It is actually easier to hoist the front end up, drop everything out, then slide everything...

    Just bought 1972 Dart Swinger

Two options I see on the front and back. There is a trunk trim piece that goes across the trunk lip and extends across onto the quarters. You can see it on mine to break it up. Since they are already painted, for fairly cheap money you can blast and powder coat. I powder coated a few pieces...

    Greetings from Mexico

Welcome from NC....I kinda like the color on my truck, very similar, couldn't locate a paint code so I had to have the paint guy shoot a digital paint match and mix a can for touch up.

Barn find real 1971 h code duster

You are correct 70-71 SB 340 V8 was hemi orange. 72-73 was blue. The pic is labeled "not so stock" and I am not so sure there was confirmation of match to vin. The motor looks to have been apart to alter the manifold and add dress up kit. Hard to tell, but you start to think top end apart, cam...

I will dig around in my storage. I may have a set of cores, they would need to be sent to restoration.

Rally guages? Nice. I am digging the 80's aftermarket radio. That is great. Put a mask on and get to work skinning and sanitizing at your friends house. Then once it is all clean smelling, bring it home. Lol

    New from Michigan

Welcome. Price not relevant. This hobby is like any other, you just have to understand going into it that "price" is what someone will pay. A 1969 Dart Roller could go between $1500-4500 by itself. If everything is there, I would pay for it. Finding parts is a pain sometimes! You said it comes...

    1974 Dart swinger 318 to 360 swap

I did the same thing with my 74. Go check it out if you like. I used stock 318 mounts and honestly don't remember doing anything special. You bought a car that doesn't move....be sure you address brakes and suspension while you are contemplating motor. If it were me, I would use the 904, and...
