Not having any luck with the search, I'm looking for the car on this site that has the longram manifolds on it. I can't remember which forum it was in either, just that it was a white engine bay. Can anyone help me out?

I seem to remember not too long ago there was a big block Barracuda on the cover of the Jegs catalog that had a modified set of longram intakes on it. Does anyone else remember this?? I'm looking , trying to find some pics of it and not having any luck. Can someone help me out??

In my experience, you leave wax on too long and it doesnt want to come back off at all. Leave it on all winter? Sounds like a bad idea to me.

The way I understood it is that the Demon's actual model description is "Dodge Dart Demon" also, there is another thread on here from some time ago about the badging on the trunks. If I recall, some had nothing, some had just Dodge, and some had Dodge and Dart.

That makes good sense to me, but then what about the RV engines that were different from all the others, how are they identified?

I'm confused...I have heard of 440-1 and 440-3 blocks, turns out mine says 440-8. Can anyone shed some light on what differences these blocks have? Any info or links would be much appreciated.

So mine since it is a 1978 should be a "regular" 440 then right?

Yeah, I'll check the exhaust ports, thanks for the tip. I did look at the casting numbers on it today and its a 440-8, cast in 78...does that mean anything to anybody?

I'm prepping a '78 440 that came from a huge winnebago RV to drop in the Demon for some summer fun. My question is where can I find a complete gasket rebuild kit for it? I'm not having any luck through normal sources because of the winnebago origin. I have read that there were some differences...
