Yep, Just ask for a starter for a 90's dakota - v8. The gear reduction starter spins the motor much quicker, draws less power, and gives you more room for headers etc. What more could you ask for! This combined with my MSD, and my car started all winter in CANADA!!!

the theory is if you do NOT use the washers, the plug will reach further into the combustion chamber, resulting in better burn. I have no facts to back this up, but I do run mine without washers for this reason :scratch:

Anyone got picks of the throttle and kickdown hookups with simular setups?

I solved a lot of problem I thought I had with my carb by replacing my ignition are you running points or electronic? Also be sure you are running the right plugs, I was running plugs that were too short it made a big difference.

I don't believe there is such thing as a #'s correct car for this era as the vin #s were not printed in engines yet! However, you should be able to check the fender code, to see if it was a 225 or 170 car. Robb
