I never heard of epoxy primer hurting body filler. Just like prrc said epoxy will seal the paint. I've worked in a few body shops where we used epoxy as a sealer.

I also have purchased from TCP Global and was happy. Martin Senour is also very good which is available at local Napa stores. My paint of choice is RM Diamont but they are VERY expensive. TCP Global also color matches paint just give them your paint code and they will mix it up for you.

You would put it on after the car is clear coated. NO clear coat on top of the strip. The only time I would clear over a pin stripe is if it were painted. But then again it depends on the painted stripe. I would say that the majority of the time stripes not matter what kind are not painted.

You definitely need to research a place before doing the work. You need to find out how long it will take. I would have to agree with Flatlander. I would look into a dealer instead of an independent shop. I used to be a bodyman for about 10 years and it also seemed to me that Dealerships alway retain the help longer the independent shops. There main money source are for most shops is insurance work...

If you are indoors you can run 15 to 17 and get nice welds. Outside I will run around 20 or so. Anything above 25 is just wasting gas. I have heard of some people using 30 - 35 cfm's outside and 20 - 25 cfm's inside. So to each his own I guess.

Use some 180 grit paper and then coat it with some epoxy primer and it will never come back!

No one produces a reproduction section, so you would have to find one from a yard or check out moparts and see if anyone is cutting up a duster.
