    It's been HOW LONG?

Yep, it's been about a year since I last posted here. About a year & a half ago, I tore into the 273 in my newly acquired 1969 Dart Swinger. The engine is original to the car, and I wanted to improve the performance, so I swapped the cam and had a set of 302 heads worked up to put on the motor...

Ok - Help me out a little everyone.

My name is Tony, and I'm relatively new to the board. I'm 44, and married to a great woman who likes our cars as much as I do. In fact, she's named them both.I joined up when I bought my '69 Dart, back in November of last year. I also have a '74 Challenger, Plum Crazy, 416 sb/ 727. My first...

    Anyone notice ?

Personally, I feel funny posting about nothing in particular, although I don't mind reading other people's posts. I appreciate the info that I've gotten here. BTW, I fired up my Chally for the first time this year, man it sounded GREAT! I can't wait to put the Dart engine back together and get...

Bought some land, now comes a shop!

Just a suggestion- use attic trusses for part, if not all, of the roof, and you'll gain a ton of storage space, without having to put stuff on the bottom chord of the standard truss, which isn't really designed to carry a load. If you go with a high enough roof pitch, you could even put an...

If you could spare a moment...

While we're at it, let's say a prayer for her husband, who has to LIVE through this whole ordeal, including the US Government getting involved in what SHOULD be a family affair.

    Mopar Nationals/ Hotel Rooms

If anybody here is in need of rooms for the Nats, the ExtendedStay Columbus East still has some available. I just booked three for Thursday- Sunday. They're one queen bed rooms, but they have deluxe rooms which have a queen bed and a sleeper sofa. Also, all rooms have a kitchenette, which would...

    The snow ball effect

I hear you. I only got to drive my Dart once when it was delivered, that's when I noticed that the radiator was leaking. So, I parked it, pulled the rad, and that's when I decided "well, radiator's out, might as well swap the cam. And sinceI wanted to put a four barrel intake and carb on it, I...

    Tax return time !

Refund? I've heard of these, but never actually seen one. Unfortunately, the only time I see a refund is when business is worse than the year before, which looks like might be the case this year.

    Changing colors, would you?

There's a reason that so many people change their car's color TO red. It looks great! I'd keep it original.

Newbie here!!! This site is cool!

I'm new to this site as well, and I have found the folks here very friendly and willing to help out, without a lot of the "sniping" that goes on at some "other "boards.

    Fan Shroud Part #'s ?

I need to replace the shroud on my Dart, and I'm not sure which # is the part #. The first # is 2785614, and below that is 95511. Which one should I be looking for? Thanks. Tony

    It's Official!

Thanks for all the comments. :P I've been wanting a Dart for a long time. I recently sold a '71 Satellite to buy this one, my heart just wasn't into the B-body. It's kinda funny, the first muscle car I ever rode in was a 1969 Dart Swinger 340 that my parents bought new, so this car is kind...

    It's Official!

Thanks! I'm keeping the dog dish caps for now, though I'm thinking of painting the rims body color, and probably flip the tires to get rid of the whitewalls. Eventually, I'll put some bigger wheels & rubber on it. Overall the car is real clean, solid trunk floor and inner fenders. The rear...

    It's Official!

Well, I'm officially an A-Body owner! My 1969 Dart Swinger arrived Tuesday afternoon, and just in time since we've been hit with snow the last two days! It's a numbers matching 273 auto with factory A/C. It's been somewhat restored, stock rebuilt engine & trans, interior has been redone...

    New Members

Hi, I'm new here also, I found the site while doing a search for Darts. I actually came here looking to find a Dart for sale, having just sold a 1971 Satellite Sebring. I ended up finding one in Kansas, and I'm impatiently waiting for it to be delivered. I currently own a 1974 Challenger, 416...
