    what degree thermostat?

I'd start out with a 180* or better, that'll hold the water in the radiator long enough to cool it a 160* may let the water keep flowing and never cool down by staying open.....from experience but jmo.....Wagg's P.s. they seem to make hp and better gas mileage around 200*

    high speed overheating

check to make sure the lower radiator has a spring in it so the hose doesnt collapse...if it doesnt you can rev the engine a bit and will see the hose collapse, and if thats not the problem like the other person said go to hotter thermostat to slow the water down

    cooling headache!!!

new motor? i'd try a 195 t stat, check the timing get it to 34*'s total or maybe a Lil' less till the engine has been broke in, check float levels on carby ( too lean will make it run hot ) run large fan in front of radiator while breaking in the cam ( engines inherently run hot during break in )

    cooling headache!!!

slowing the water down in the system will allow it to run cooler, ie: a 160* thermostat may make the engine run hotter than a 200* thermostat...also there are High flow and low flow water pumps, the high flow may cause this same problem....been there done that hope this is helpful...Wagg's

    Ditch the Thermostat?

thermostat opens at 120 degrees doesnt mean the car will run at that temp, the 120 degree thermostat will stay open and not allow time for the water to kewl in the radiator thus running hotter. I run a 195 * thermostat in my 340 duster here in sunny hot florida, the engine runs at 180* and goes...

    Leaking Heater Core...

seen another guy came up with a clever ide to keep the leaves from entering the vent area of the cowl, he took a magnetic sign and cut it to fit then sprayed and cleared it to match the car and would keep it inside the trunk when not in use, just stuck it there to the decklid

I hate to ask this but can ya give us a pic of the water pump, does it look like a big howitzer gun on the front or have the barrels been machined off from the factory, the one that looks like a howitzer is a standard pump and the other is a high volume pump, although it may sound wrong but the...

is this a good deal or a bad radiator?

He has good feedback,I seen two of his neautral feedback were for it being from china, and one was for leaking but customer noted he got full refund plus shipping costs, other couple comments were from whiney babies about not fitting perfect(had to drill holes diffrently)so i'd say it's a good...
