    383 valley pan question

    It would seem that I might have lost a part!! I have a small piece of steel to put accross the back of valley pan but I can't seem to find what ever there was to put on the front of it and was wondering if it looks the same as the rear one

    I have a 1968 383,,,I got a double chain timing set for christmas for a 3 bolt cam but he was told when he bought it that it might need a single bolt set. As far as I know this engine is stock,, is there a standard cam that these engines use.
