I have a 8/34 489 10 spline 3.91 with a spool with a 1350 u joint in the car now and I also have a 742 with 3.23 and a sure grip and a 7290 u joint 10 spline which I would like to put in the car . the question is can I just take the 1350 yoke off and put it on the 742 without a new crush...

since my verter does not have a drain plug can I drain the pan and unhook the coil wire and crank the engine will this pump the oil in the verter to the pan to drain ? thanks . drive thru .
