    Anybody using Proform Carbs

I used to have a 750 Eddy carb on my car. It ran GREAT. 340 modified to about 360-370 HP. About 8 years ago, the 20 year old lacquer paint job I did was starting ti look ragged, so I blew it apart for another paint job. Life got in the way and it took 2 years. I never could get the car to run...

Who uses inline electric fuel pump, what brand, do you like it?

69 Barracuda, 340, modified to about 360 HP. I have a 15-20 year old Carter HP mechanical fuel pump that has worked well, but it has started to take a LONG time for the pump to fill the Eddy carb if it hasn't been started for a while. It used to only take a few seconds of cranking. I'd love to...

Pulled the trigger on a Holley Sniper today

I finally did it. I pulled the trigger on a Holley Sniper Fuel injection system today. I went to start my 69 340 today, and I had to crank it until gas got to the carb. Right then, I thought it's time for FI. I know what some of you are thinking; "So start your more often." Sometimes life gets...

Weird Gasoline Leak Today. Thoughts on Cause and Source Appreciated

I was working on a friend’s RV today, so I parked the Barracuda Way down at the bottom of the driveway to keep it out of the way and keep it accessible. When I went to pull it into the garage, I smelled the strong smell of gas. There was a good puddle behind the car, and more gas was dribbling...

Return line and air filter question for Holley Sniper

I am really close to pulling the trigger on a Holley Sniper kit for my 69 Barracuda with a moderately modified 30. I have read the data available on the Holley site. I plan to call their tech line, but I wanted your inputs first. I know the system requires a return line. A few years ago I put a...

    Remember the Holley 3 Barrel?

I was reading some of the current threads on which carb to use, and I got to thinking about the old Holley 3 Barrel. As I remember, it wasn't around long. It seemed like a good idea to me; put your foot in it, and the gigantic third barrel would open. Does anybody know what caused its demise?
