Oh hell no. It was perfect....a fresh engine just like you said. All I did was put a ridiculously milled head on it I already had and stuck a BIG solid cam in it......a few other things....matching valve springs, Rollmaster chain set......MP high pressure oil pump spring......degreed the cam......but I didn't touch the short block. As SOON as fire hit it, BAM the oil light went right out. I cannot thank you enough. It worked out really good.

Got the timing sorted out. This is on 15* BTDC, but that might change after I drive it once I get the exhaust on.
Sounds Better, smoothing out !

Exhaust??? First drive with my old 440/4sp Dart was without mufflers...I stayed out of it so as not to draw any attention. My wife had run out of gas in the GTS (yeah, I wasn't paying attention to how much gas was in it)...
I ALMOST shot it down the road today after I got the V8 throttle cable hooked up. I may do it tomorrow. I needed to get the timing sorted out bad though....It was way too high, but I got it right now.
Got the rest of the TTI exhaust today. Probably get it on tomorrow and will post another video. Gotta fix a pesky exhaust leak between the two mannyfolds too.

Thanks. We've worked pretty hard on it so far. I'm in the middle of fixing an exhaust leak now between the manifolds. I've gotten to whee I can get them both off and back on in about 15 minutes flat. lol Not bein as young as I used to be though, my back really tells on me. LOL
