Fuel line, transmission lines have been run.
Mounted the line lock and ran some of the brake lines.
I need to remake the one line with stainless and run the front and rear brakes yet.

Ah thats ironic, I went to Summit Racing today and got all my brake fittings to mock up and drill the firewall holes before paint.....So my big question is what are "WE" going to do next ? looks good as I've come to expect.

Take your pick!

Bunch of stuff that needs to be taken care of.

Mount steering column and steering linkage to the rack.
Final fitting of the glove box.
Seat brackets.
Weld up a few spots.
Finish fuel door and fill tube.
Weld up holes in the firewall and inner fender.
Weld battery tray in the trunk.
Figure out how I'm going to route the battery lines.
Weld tabs onto the K member for the sway bar.
prep parts for powder coating.
Remove the rear end and test fit the disc brake kit.
Install new slip yolk onto drive shaft.
Remove wiper pivots and rebuild them.
Mount the rear and front spoilers.
Fix the grill tabs.

I know there is more, just don't have the list in front of me.

Heck..... according to the list, I've been there and done that already for most of it, I don't feel like such a slacker all of a sudden. Of course I've been working on this since September 2010.

are you happy with the fit of the dash?

Mark,
I would think to be "Happy" with the dash fitment it would have been a bolt in and go part...all the hours Shawn has invested I would think "Happy" wouldn't be the word to describe the dash.

Ross said it best.
Notice the glove box door is open. I just haven't found enough patience to circle back around and fix that yet. :banghead:

I could go on about it but I've given the subject enough attention.
It will work out in the end and I'll be happy with the look.

I have that same flaring tool and i must say i love it and it works every time the first time.Makes things easy!!Nice job car looks great!!!

Thanks! Been following your build for a while and enjoying it.

Question for you guys. My hood springs are waaaayyyy to freaking stiff and I need to figure out a solution. The last thing I want to do it put a bent seam all the way across the cuda hood when I try to shut it.

Got any solutions besides removing the springs?
Buddy keeps telling me to put hood shocks on it, i'm not sold on that idea yet.

grease the bejesus out of them by jamming grease into the coils....the mount them and work them...up and down....a lot.

Brother Weeb actually made his too weak...didn't know you could do that...but he did

Hood is TRICK!!!....your execution is flawless!

So another words the springs are binding up on themselves and just need grease.
Hopefully the solution is that easy, I'll give it a try.

I'm all about simple solutions.
Ok,Never-mind the previous 11 pages in this thread.

Maybe I'm getting a little lazy.

I never thought about packing the coils with grease.. mine were super stiff (especially the one on the drivers side) we just soaked all the pivot points with PB Blaster and then worked the springs up and down.. now it takes very little effort at all to close the hood
