Speaking of used stuff.
Anybody got a valve spring tester that could test a set of 248 or 249 mopar springs, I think they are, for me. They are suppost to be new that were mounted then swapped out for some stiffer ones. Zero miles but mounted.
I just want to verify that they are good Springs.

I thought you were saying putting the $300 motor in your Duster and your duster with you in it was 3750 and you said your duster by its self was 3200..

my car weighed 3240 when I weighed. but I have aluminum wheels... maybe 3220 now? without me...

well, if you really want to compare short blocks, I'll need 3.55 gears, 9.5 converter (against your 4 speed), roller rockers, 2.02 installed in my home ported 596 heads, cam change, I'll have to add 5 cubes by boring it .030, you'll have to add 100 lbs to your car, and we'll even leave the tunnel ram out of it. (you really wouldn't want this race....
