Only thing I bought at the swap meet was a new transmission mount for my 76 Dart rear cross member.

Really enjoyed my birthday. Thanks 318didn'tbuymy pizza.

I broke even! Believe me that's very very good for me. That's only happened once before. Absolutely never come out ahead and I have a booth..

You really have to sell a lot to pay for a $5000 space. You broke even, that's amazing. Good for you.
I spent $20 for the mount and $100 for fuel. lol

I sold the diamond plated toolbox that was laying in the back of that seed truck to a guy for 30 bucks and I had 40 bucks on it. That was on the first day on Thursday. Then today I noticed a couple of those Bullet Hole Rim caps like the ones I got with the rims that I bought and figured if I could get them cheap enough I'd pick him up in case I through one-off doing a burn off. he was asking too much and I started walking away and he said he's packing up in an hour and I said okay. As I walked away I noticed or remembered that was the guy that bought my diamond plate tool box. I come back about an hour and a half later and he still out there with not even starting packing up. And lo and behold I noticed that those caps are sitting right on top of that box with a bunch of other stuff. The first thing I asked him is how much do you want for the toolbox? He said I'll let it go for $70! LOL I said what I sold that to you for $30 two days ago? And he was like oh oh oh man ah ah ah...
I said and now you want to charge me full price for this 2 caps? Some people...
Then at the very end of the day the two Chevy guys came up to me and started chat me up and wanted my phone number for just a contact. The older guy said he liked my personality (go figure that) and his son got a kick out of me also I guess. Anyways I started telling them that story and they're like oh yeah that's the guy who tried to tell us that those Mopar rims were actually Chevy rallies and tried to talk us down a whole bunch. Then actually bought those bullet caps from them and tried to get them to toos in the wagon that he pulled up in front of me with for free?! They said he was from Canada and thought all of us Americans were stupid or something..

Funny thing is I went in $80 each with two of my other friends and the weather was supposed to be totally storming and raining and neither one of them showed up. I can hardly wait till next year to ask them if they want to help me pay for my spot again! LOL pussies...

What a deal that turned out to be! I agreed to buy him pizza "Happy B-Day", but when the yuppies heard it was his birthday, they gave him the 10 dollar+ pizza!!!

I bought mine...… and we had good pizza... almost as good as the conversations :D

Well I got the new 15 by 7 cop wheels and now I'm deciding exactly what tire to put on the back? I'm leaning towards the Mickey Thompson 275 60 15 but they're saying I need a 7 and 1/2 inch rim? I know they got the nittos out there also but I'm not sure exactly what to put on there..?? What's say ye drag race consensus?? Remember I ride with a E- body width rear axle. The tires stick out a little bit but my rear ends up high enough not to hit them. I like them because they're 28 like my Hoosier slicks were. And they barely fit in the fender walls but they still didn't touch the front fender well since I put that half inch spacer in.

Also I was thinking of some 225 60 15's for the front? I guess pretty much anything I can find...??

It looks like the Nitto 555's would be $100 cheaper for the sets. Possibly wear a little longer.... but...lol...

And what's up with the two different weight ratings on the nitto's?
It looks like Summit is charging ten bucks for shipping and Jegs is not?

I see you liking my post but I don't hear any opinions?
I would go as wide as possible in the rear 265 60 or 275 60 whatever fits and on the front 235 60s in these I love coopers

I ran 275/60r15's Comp T/A Drag Radials on cop wheels on the back of the last Dart I owned. Yes, they will fill out the wheel well, and with you having an E-body width, it would have to sit high in the back. However you said you already had that size of slick in the back?
As I posted a few pages back, I went with 235/60r15 MT ET sTreets for this Duster. This Duster sits a little lower in the back, and I'll be running a B-body rear end. I think it will work out just fine.

275's on a Dart? Or Dart Sport?

nope. A body rear end with adaptors for the 4.5 bolt pattern
Must have been a 73... 74 and up should have been bbp, but Dart Sport same as Duster with big wheel wells, not like a normal Dart. I was going to say, I Ain't getting a 275, or a 255... At least not without a sawzall... LOL... Not saying I haven't thought about it. The 2020 race coming up, and I already need quarter panels... I say a 3 track race. 1/4... 1/8... And a dirt track... Let's make it good.

'74 Dart Sport with a 8.75 rear.

Growing up everyone had the 1/8 mile marked outside of town..... NOT!!!!! :poke:
1/4 mile. Anything less is a stinkn' stop light war :D

I can use that if you are going to get rid of it.
I still have a 8.75 in my Challenger
Pm me your address. I'm terrible about shipping stuff. It's Sunday it's raining I don't want to do it LOL but anyways just send me your address and kick me in the butt once every other day and I should have it out by the end of the week...
