Yea there's allot of 450 hp 340's out there, it's easy lol, but in reality more like 375 to maybe 400.I guess maybe bench racin it might.

Well I know that, I just don't see it "here".Yea there's allot of 450 hp 340's out there, it's easy lol, but in reality more like 375 to maybe 400.
I bet it is after 50 years of testing and building.. 450 is a cakewalk
I almost started a poll how many replys unil you said nitrous wasnt needed
Can't see Trick Flow heads making 450 hp ?
I'm not saying it cannot be done. I'm saying I doubt it from the combo mentioned in this thread.@goldduster318 has a stock stroke 340 that dynoed at 470 hp right here
No, I didn't effin say that, g'dammit. Can yall not read effin English? You can’t see TrickFlow heads making 450 horsepower. What??
There's more to building an engine and making horsepower than just bolting on a head. Can't see Trick Flow heads making 450 hp ?
I'm not saying that, seem to be what others are saying. You can’t see TrickFlow heads making 450 horsepower. What??
I almost started a poll to see how long got the “nitrous heads” to show up. 450 is a cakewalk and nitrous isn’t needed. Lol.
Yes but it's the biggest part of it as long the other parts can keep up.There's more to building an engine and making horsepower than just bolting on a head.
I call bullshit on all these 450 hp 340's, it ain't as easy as some say and it's been witnessed at the track.
I don't think anyone is saying a trick flow won't support 450 hp, it will with right sum of parts and machining.I'm not saying that, seem to be what others are saying.

just under 400 hp with a 585 lift solid, how much gain do you think the Trick flow would give you on that combo. 50+ hp?We have laid out the blueprint.

I know that, you'd build one over 450 for sure, I don't doubt you.I wouldn’t build a 340 the same way now. Especially if I’m starting out with a 300 cfm head and way better intake choices. I’m going to take better advantage of that head.
S'why I recommended a different intake early on.I know that, you'd build one over 450 for sure, I don't doubt you.
