Are you not going to use the separator for the intake? I'm trying to figure out how to make one for when I do my intake. Can you take some dimensions of the one you have as it looks like that's what I'm looking to do.

My apologies for delayed response as I am down in Ark/Okl visiting a new grandson! I have done nothing of any value other than play cards drink beer and smoke a pork butt for pulled pork sandwiches. We rented a house on the lake and have kin folk coming in from all sides. The relentless Oklahoma vs Arkansas smack talk is over the top. Right down to origins of family recipes! As you can imagine I am having a blast surrounded by family! With regard to the separator I am not going to use it as I have purchased a after market one. For a cold beer I would send it to you! If that interests you send me a PM and we can sort it out. Please don't be alarmed if I am slow in responding I have limited internet. When I say we are from the back woods it is literal! I traded my daughters birth expenses for firewood to the doctor!

hydro dip! Is the way to go. I did my air intake hose it is PVC but you can do any material in it with numerous colors and patterns.

My trans crossmember is very simular to yours but my side crossmember bolts have urethane bushings much like the motor mounts. Just food for thought.
 
What setup did you use for the A/C and power steering?
I'm trying to get all my homework done for my 6.1 install on my 68 Barracuda.

I'm not sure if this was directed at me or not but I'm using a manual rack and the Challenger compressor with a after market Southern Air heat/air box.

It is universal but it is a very easy box to fit in. You won' need the hole in the firewall for your blower motor anymore as it is contained in the box. All you need is a spot for your heater and A/C hoses to enter once you figure out where you want the box. I ran mine up in the wheel well to keep my firewall cleaner looking.
I guess you could get (or make) one of the round aluminum plates to cover the hole in your firewall and run your hoses through that since your car is already done and so damn nice!!

Thanks for the compliments Dragger40.You car is also very nice! I love the green.And thanks for the tips on the a/c box. I have only heard of vintage and classic air.After riding around in 99 degree weather I have to have some ac. Thanks again

My apologies to all of you FABO ruffians following my install progress. I have been visiting family down South and am just getting back to all things Fargo. Summer is so short up here I have been riding Harley more than wrenching! Finally went back into shop and decided it was time to clean the place as it was trashed. I would guess most everyone following this thread is an actual doer vs a poser so I need not explain what a trashed shop looks like. We have all done it, getting sucked in by the project then one day walking into the shop thinking WTF this place looks like a bomb went off in here. Parts tools and debris scattered everywhere. It was time. So I turned up the music pored an adult beverage and cleaned the place. I did nothing more complicated than that. Took me better part of the day! Took a pix of bench and box! It has been blister butt hot here so energy has waned a bit. Rather go for a putt, local MC had a great ride this weekend nothing says woo Hoo like riding butt to nut side by side at 80 mph! Had a blast. Next weekend I will get back to thrashing on the Demon!

Thanks, us Okies gotta stick together! I figured if I took a picture of box and bench actually being clean at least I have a point of reference! Hah! Fargo is cold flat and windy. But you know what we say... Have hood will travel! chasing the dollars!
 
So thats what a clean workbench and organized tool box look like. I don't think I have seen mine like that in years

So just throwing this out there. I was in shop last night admiring the fact I could actually see the top of my bench, I was at rear of Demon looking down the sides and thinking that is the best looking tail lights on the planet when it occurred to me what if I put fender flares on the back? Hides the meat and screams 70's! Then I thought well ya idiot you just destroyed any hope of resale. Then looking out in drive it dawned on me I never sell one! So anyway does anyone have a pix of a Duster or Demon with fender flares? (not a new Demon)

I'm thinking that with the square body lines that you would want to go more "wide body" than flares. You know, widen the hips and fenders. Think IMSA style maybe.
Just a thought.

And that folks is exactly why I love FABO! Dragger, I had not even considered that concept. Honking Brilliant! I will be all over the Demon this weekend with some chalk. Not saying I will do it but the idea sure has some merit. I was a pit crew guy on a SCCA team in my youth and the swell and roundness of the cars was pure beauty. I am betraying my age here but think of the Datsun 2000 roadster and the TR 6. Love em or hate em no in between.Hmmmm maybe that is why I like my women full growed! Wide in the hips with some flared fenders! Hah. You guys rock

. I have a 5.7 with RMS suspension rack. I have a truck cover so it will be different than yours.
