A big thanks to Frank at work for bending up some tubing to stiffen the core support. I was planning on a Dillinger Chassis kit but he hasn't made parts for some time, so I had to build this myself. I mounted a universal fit Summit radiator with some angle iron cups, insulated with rubber tool box liner. It's bolted to some brackets I welded up top. As you can see, there isn't much room for any more radiator in this car. Gotta cool the big block

looks like the same radiator type I`m running 28x19 crossflow. I used flanges on the side of the rad. heli arced flush , so it will sit against the core support. cutom reworked summit alum. shroud, 17" 6 blade fan, so far so good.

Got any pictures? I was hoping to run electric fans on the engine side, but there isn't much space for them. I'll probably use a mechanical fan for now.

Still making progress. Finally welded the collectors on the headers and had them ceramicoated raw steel color. Cleaned up the engine bay and had my brother paint everything satin black. I know it's not a "purist" mopar thing but I don't care, looks awesome.

Wow! It’s been a while since I’ve posted any updates. Well, I’ve made a lot of progress, but here’s what’s most recent.

I pop riveted a custom aluminum rear firewall from Russ at Racetech Motorsports in Portland. Managed to keep all of the seat mounting brackets!

Any suggestions on how to really seal up any exposed areas in the firewall and speaker tray? I’ve seen people use that expanding construction foam, but yellow doesn’t look good. I found a black foam used for filling cracks in pond rocks.... Does the firewall have to be completely sealed off?

I covered the orig back trunk separator w/ .062 alum. sheet, and made it stationary . No rear seat, finished as business coupe.

Installed the “new” master cylinder and proportioning valve. Had to route the brake lines strategically to avoid the headers

So you want to seal the trunk from the passenger compartment ... Don't forget to look over the wheel wells up into the headliner area there may be a pair of chimneys that are open to the passenger compartment.

BTW that foam is highly toxic when burned.

Take another look at the building supply center for red fire proofing caulk .

Finished the inner braces today. Took a LOT of cutting and fitting to make this magnumforce kit work. My brother and I ended up welding the tubes in first and then trimming the shock tower braces to fit. I believe this kit is designed more for a later Abody, but I'm happy with my results.

Apparently my nephew is awesome and decided to get in on a picture

How big are the GAPS? we use Urethane /Sikaflex at work to bond panels, strong as f,,k! Same stuff they use for modern windscreens.
SUBSCRIBED ;)

All kick a$$ , I like it ! No fuel plumbing on firewall/ according to nhra tho-just sayin-------
Amazing how much more room "non raised port" heads look like they make !

Ahhhh hell! I’ll have to move those around then. Good thing I haven’t mounted any clamps in that area yet.
Thanks Bob!

keep the pics coming !! Wish I could post pics, but no cigar for some reason !

Went with a denso alternator from the junk yard. Gotta love those half off days! Used factory style brackets and made some spacers. These little things are fun to check off the list. Next up is wiring.....lots of wiring

Headers next ? I f u run a very thick shroud , u might have to run a short filter------------

I think I’m gonna sneak in a couple staggered electric fans after all. Hopefully won’t interfere with the oil filter. I gotta break in the cam as well, so manifolds will be going on before headers

My driver door has been hard to close and open ever since I got the car. I finally went to adjust it and realized why it’s been so finicky. Apparently a tweaker got to this before me and this was his repair job. It took me five years to notice this. Long day of fab work ahead, unless I can find another door locally.

Hey guys, I did some stuff this weekend. First time uploading a video on YouTube, so I apologize for the quality. Still a good teaser of the beast running!
