Well, it did have! LOL14X5.5's on my 66. It had a #368 "Dart Rallye Package" which included HD rear springs, HD torsion bars, Front sway bar, 6.95x14" Blue Streak Tires, and wide rims.

Sure, 14" wheels were an option. They made both 14 X 4 1/2" and 14 X 5 1/2" small bolt pattern wheels. You could also get either the dog dish hubcaps or full wheel covers.

No trim rings were used with the hubcaps. It's a bit debatable as to whether the wheels were painted body color or black with the hubcap and wheel cover choices. I've seen full wheel covers with body painted wheels (like my car) and also black ones. All the hubcap cars I've seen were body color though. What your car came with would be on the build sheet. I don't think it's anywhere else unless it's listed in a package or on the window sticker. So dog dish with painted steel wheels and trim rings was a viable stock look in 66?
I don't think the hub caps are original. The #368 package is on the build sheet. The paint is ZZ1 Gold Poly Metallic. Thanks! So the wheel cover in your first picture is original? Where do you find if you have the #368 package, is that part of the certicard or VIN or on a build sheet, which I don't have. Like your wheel choice BTW, what is your paint color, looks similar to mine AA1 = Silver Metallic
My wheels were body color. I scuffed them and painted them black. The old photo in post #900 had 13" wheels and snow tires on the rear when I went to look at it to buy.No trim rings were used with the hubcaps. My wheel covers are a #24 on the build sheet but I have never been able to find out what they look like.Hey 66 Dart GT owners, what is the stock wheel, or wheel cover choices if I wanted to stay original. I have 13 inch wheels, did any models come with 14s? Pictures useful and suggested places to purchase. Thank you.
My '66 Valiant Signet convertible came with 14 X 4 1/2 body color wheels and full wheel covers. Since they're still going to have full wheel covers, and disc brakes, I had a set of 14 X 5 1/2 wheels powder coated black to put on it.My wheels were body color. Looks like you may have a slight hood clearance issue!
66 Darts make great gassers because they are so correct. 66 was pretty much the last year before they went to funny cars. 67's not so much.
If you own a 66 Dart please respond to this post. There seems to be a lot of us here lately. Post your favorite photo of your car too. toolmanmike
Nice and I like that color and the US Barracuda wheel covers. In Canada, 66 valiant is a US dart rebadged basically. Currently torn down for disc brake swap, suspension, fuel tank, exhaust, wheels, the usualView attachment 1715604282View attachment 1715604288
