Gorgeous transformation!! You know, it's great to see so many of these cars today that actually look better than they did when they were new!

Thanks John!
I really do appreciate your opinion and I gree. There are more of these cars getting the treatment that they deserve. I only wish I had the skill, guts and money to do it how I would really like to have done it.
No sense in having any regrets about the level you've taken the car to. - No matter how far you go you'll always have other mods you could have added. She looks pretty sweet to me!
Ya that model A was one of my Grandfathers. It's my brothers. We are chopping it and going to build a stroked Y-block in it. We were toying with doing the flat head but those are always being done that way.
His wifes model A will get the treatment first though.
Were going to put an Art Morrison chassis under both of them.
I had a 1930 Delux Town Sedan that I almost finished but I sold it for Barracuda funds. It WAS the right choice of course. L.O.L!!! I am a little biased with my cars and will always choose Mopar first.
One of these days I need to get back to work on Teresa's Model A pickup. We were just going to keep it mostly original and use it for a parts/grocery getter.

Love these A pickups, wish I had the coin for one.
I remembered you talking about flange warpage earlier and I could only find 3/8 inch at the most. I found the thinner 1/4 inch all day long but knew they were junk.
The output flange is also 3/8 in thick on the ones I am getting. I know that it's not as big of a deal at that end but it does help.
I got them from Stans Hedders in Auburn Wa, Custom made for $800.00
The tubes are 14 gauge steel.

Love these A pickups, wish I had the coin for one.Passed up a 33/34 Plymouth sedan done right,15 years ago. Looked like an late '70's/early '80's street rod. Cadillac Black Cherry, sweet wire wheels on it. Passed it up,for 6500 in '98. Shot myself in the foot, on that one.
This one's pretty rough. It was one of her dad's vehicles. We've never had it running since she got it because the starter was bad. Some day, some day...
That's a seriously good price, for custom headers... As you probably know, most off the shelf pipes, are the same & higher. Was curious, what you thought of their work.
It's always interesting to see the varying ride heights. I like your choice. I was surprised on my car how much lower it sat after I put in all of the interior parts, gas, and trim. I think mine dropped an inch after all the parts were finally on the car.
Just been reading over your entire thread - really nice work and I am extremely jealous! Beautiful car and I like that you kept the 273. Really like the black eldebrock valve covers too.
That sounds WAY too healthy for a 273!! LOL!
