Yeah hopefully, and thanks. The cortisone shots were only lasting 2 months. So it was time to just get it repaired.

Look what showed up today, again another big thanks to Shane aka dart19666. Will get it cleaned, lubed and installed and meassure for lifters.

Got the billet fuel pump block off plate today along with the 1/4" rubber gasket sheet, going to have to make my own for the front China wall, and might as well make the rear out of the same material. Waiting for the head gaskets to be shipped from cometic going with .040, that's the thickness Rod from bloomers figured my 9.08:1 comp.

what kind of cam do you use? is it a solid roller? and do you have the specs?

Currently i´m using a HR from comp, 248° @ .050" with around .620" Lift on 113 LSA - wondering if it´s a good candidate for a turbo setup.

Michael

Duration at 0.050” 243/239 with a lobe lift of 0.403”/0.403” on a 114LSA installed on a 110ICL. Valve lift equates out to 0.6527”.

Its a billet solid roller from crower, Shane aka dart19666 designed it for me. You can ask on the forum, I couldn't tell you if it would work, I leave that to the experts.

Got the oil filter relocation mounted, made my own gaskets for the China wall. Also swapped the braided lines on the intake to the black braided, just so it all matches the rest of the fuel system.

And unfortunately I need to get a different water neck, a hose won't clear when I put on then y for the intercooler pipe, so thats on order already, get that swapped out as soon as it gets here, it's a 360 degree one so I can see where works perfect.

Well picked up another tool box/work bench, and my dear wife and kids got me a vise for early father's day present, so got that mounted, cleaned up the valve covers, degreed the cam in today too.

Carefully pulled the bolts out of the idler plate and red lock tight them, tightened all the bolts on the cam gear, and cam bolt. Install the front cover and water pump today, just need to figure out the lifters then the heads can go on, already have the cometic head gaskets .040 thick compressed.

Well installed the rockers they are Hughes 1.65:1 onto the heads and put the valve covers on just to see how they look and make sure they clear the rockers. Finished wiring up the radiator fans, intercooler pump and the heat exchanger fans to the relays. Things will be on hold for a bit having my surgery tomorrow on my shoulder so will post more progress when I can, might be a month or so.

Well since I can't work on the car the parts are getting ordered, just put in my order to PTC for a converter, be about a month till it ships out, they are that busy, no biggie still healing and start physical therapy this week so I have time. Did get in the new t stat housing a rotating one due to the straight one not going to work due to the tb plumbing connection from the turbos.

Looking great on the engine. Best of luck on the sugery. My girlfriend is on her first week of rehab after having hers done

Thank you, have started physical therapy already, good luck to your girlfriend, it's a little rough but it gets better, I'm on my 5th week post and it still hurts here and there but starting next week get to move my shoulder more just stretching and getting it use to being used again. If she has any question feel free to reach out.

Well got the hole drilled to oil the gear drive, went through 5 drill bits to get through the 1/2 npt plug, got .042 feed oil. Also when I feel up to it, going to heli coil the front cover, already had one feel like it wants to let go brand new too, oh well. Also ordered some new headlights all Led. Hope to get my test fit liters soon from Shane and if those go in good, will order the rest, then on to meassureing and ordering some 7/16 push rods.

This came in today, it's a 9.5" good news is three of the four original holes lines up but going to have the others drilled at a shop. Will call them in the morning to see when I can bring it by. New gaskets for the front cover and water pump will be here tomorrow and I can put that all back together. Getting closer. PTC even threw in a free t shirt

You're going to love that converter. Same one I bought last year. There is an offset on the holes so it only goes on one way. I didn't get a shirt!
