73 dart sport project

Thanks everyone one. Nothing to report this week I was on vacation and hunting down some lost parts :(

Not much to report doing a lot of research and going threw all my parts and seeing what I don't have. I did get all new brake lines hooked up in the front of the car. Found out I had wrong perches for rear end so I didn't run those lines yet. Bolted a few other odds and end on car nothing to big. No pictures of brake lines I don't like how engine bay turned out and don't have money to redo it :/ I did open up my re-chromed bumpers. Rear bumper had a good dent in it and it still turned out beautiful.

Not much to report as normal winter decided to come back. I got the new pitman arm on and power steering back in temporary. It was to cold to stray paint it again. Turned car around for the reared swap. Had some sun so snapped a few pictures.

Diggin' that color. Those wheels look familiar, I just saw a set on CL for sale local to us, Leslie I think it was.

Thanks, the wheels are ok I want to replace them but not sure its in budget right away. I might try that paint I seen a few members using to get my by a year or so.

Not much to report took me three days to scrap undercoating with my brother and we finally got the rear end in. In between of yard work and working on house of course :D Don't mind the taped up shocks there prepped to spray some undercoating and that's not the brake line that's staying on either I noticed after I put it on its not the right one

Well car is off to friend to get under coated. Been busy with house but managed to get rims coated in plasti dip. Of course brother messed up the shot and I still need new lug nuts. Also I made a plate to stiffing up the cheap gauge cluster and what a pain that was, still needs little trimming and waiting on a part so I can finish the wiring up.

Undercoating turned out beautiful. Its really truck bed liner that is sprayed from a gun to give it a little texture. Also finished the brake lines up and started the wiring harness.

Got into a funk and stopped working on car for a month :eek:ops:
I am on the hunt for a new engine builder since mine wont even help me order the right parts. But I got out today and started to clean and repaint all my interior pieces. Still need to hunt down a few strays hopefully I didn't loose them. Had to repair one sail panel with this plastic repair kit I got. I will let you know how that turns out. Don't mind the kick panel its a low budget interior unless someone has one for cheap :D

Dude! Awsome thread, and that color kicks ***! Don't know how I missed this one, but i will be following it for sure now.:D

I fully understand that "funk" man. My Duster sat for upwards of 6 months because of it.

Nice looking trim! Where did you get that? :D :D
The car is looking great. I'll bet you can hardly wait to get it done.

Don't worry bout the no response it is a beautiful car no doubt. Your trim came out lookin beautiful.
I have been takin a break on mine too so no worries there either I just move to the other project till get bored and go back to the other.

Looking good Snake. I like those dashes, may end up with one myself. Makes the dash a little more modern in my opinion. Is that undercoat really as shiny as it looks? You may have to keep that polished up!! LOL. Keep up the pics, we may not reply every time but we're watching.

Thanks for all the comments. I good member sold me that trim :D
Ya the undercoat is a little shiny but at least its protected :)
I just noticed I forgot to take pics of front window trim. Oh well that's on and looking good :D

Love the car (had a '74 Dart Sport) and the color. I almost bought my Dodge Caliber R/T in that same color. Also I really like the hood scoop (see my avatar LOL ). Anyway I'm really enjoying the thread, keep up the good work.

Few updates got most the stainless back on. I really need new trim for window:/
But I did get new locks and handles in, carpet and front seats are all in. I really need new door panels and headliner and everything will be nice but it was have to wait. I think I will start wiring up the dash and fuel pump so I can finish putting the rear seat and fold down area back together. :D
