A-Bodies...Big Motors / New Hemi Duster - FINAL ASSEMBLY

-
Thanks, kudos to hemimark for finding it [ Nebraska car ] and hemidenny for selling it to me and all his hard work in engineering and installing drivetrain, rearend, etc. Without the Laube brothers, would not have happened!! The best part is driving it like I stole it!! Hoosh

What a great car that is............. So Denny tells me that if you ever sell it it has to be to him.... If he passes (he wont) I want to be next in line! LOL

you drove the barracuda.......... you know it's bad ***!

Dude! how's the newest hot rod????

I took Sharon to work yesterday, but picked her up in the Plymouth! One of her co-workers ran outside to check it out. Hey, look, that thing has a push-button transmission! My brother had one of those!
She was worried about making it home. I even stopped at the grocery store, she couldn't find the seat belt. She's too funny, kept saying it felt like the seat was going to flip backwards, happier once we hit the driveway!
Plymouth needs a little tuning, has a slight miss

Here is my New Years story..
This morning at 7:15 or so, the front doorbell rang.
There was a college kid standing there and he asked me where he was....as in what town was he in?

Since it was only about 15 degrees out, I invited him to go around and come into the garage. He proceeded to tell me he woke up on my neighbors front porch...but they never answered ( because they leave to their cabin for the Holiday)...he had no clue what-so-ever where he was

I offered him coffee...he declined, but took a water.

He must have really got drunk. Rather than call a cab, I had him jump in my truck and I drove him across town to where he was staying.

I was young once too.

Ha, you should have told him that he was in Nebraska and it was Valentines day. That would have messed with him a little :)

What may I ask is the newest hot rod? I thought maybe you were getting comfortable owning a Pontiac :D

Tod is now embarking on a killer new engine build for his Poncho
which was a very comprehensive frame off resto he performed.

This is an a body site. I figured I fit in with my a body :D

I've owned a Mopar in the past and will own one again in the future.

Not much of a hot rod... a '64 Plymouth Fury 4dr. 318 Poly powered. I tried not to buy it, but couldn't help myself. Lots of new parts on it, ball joints, brakes, tires, battery, rad, alt, much more, and inspected till 10/14. Just an old car to drive around in!
The Pontiac will still get worked on... It is a neat car.

Sounds cool.

Probably have Ross whip you some up out of titainium and carbon fiber
then Blue Missle could fix the holders to release with a shot from a small
particle beam laser.

I'll get started tomorrow, I just happen to have a large quantity of Titanium lying around...in Starbuck lingo what size would you prefer ?

The official Starbucks size naming scheme mixes pretentious use of Italian, and lies. The correlation goes roughly like this:

  • "Tall", which in the context of a drink seems synonymous with "large",
  • "Grande", which of course is Italian for "big", and
  • "Venti", which means "twenty," which is the number of ounces.

Doc,
Thank you for recognizing that I have a "very particular set of skills".
By the way I'm quite sure I could cobble something together with stuff from Ebay. Let me know.
Andrew

I remember in school when they said I was "special".

Somehow, in my case, I don't think that was the way it was meant.
