A-Bodies...Big Motors / New Hemi Duster - FINAL ASSEMBLY

What size are your rear tires?
315/60-15 (Much bigger than they look in car photos due to the rear wheelwells being stretched 3" to accomodate them).

You guys did a really nice job opening up the tire area on the fender.

my buddy, Bout, turned me loose in his body shop. for almost the entire five years I was transplanted in WV, he let my Duster reside in his bodyshop...and I'm not talking shoved in some corner. Whenever I had a free time...it was there ready to tackle the next step. He taught me to sand off excess filler like a pro....and stretch a panel or two.

Kudos to my friend....Bout

Wow you cant even tell you did that. Would have never know till you told me.
How is it tubbed? Did you split the factory wheel houses?
How big are the front tire and rims? and how big are the back rims? And backspace?
Sorry for all the questions

go to the middle link below...just a couple of pages...but all covered

Been there, done that, not my forte.
I have an issue trying to figure out if what I'm looking at is a low spot or the area around it is high. For some reason I always seem to do opposite of what I should have done and spent the next hour or more trying to fix the mistake. :banghead:
Body work is an art form, and the guys that are good at it amaze me with the ease and speed they work.

You seem to have picked up the body working skill set and ran with it. :)

....I would come up to Findlay (appx 4 hrs drive/one way), weld, sand, and prep. And while I was gone, Bout would skim on a new layer of filler for me to massage upon my return....for three or four weeks in a row, everytime I would come back, I found he filled the factory low area right behind the doors. I finally showed him my brothers car to prove to him that the low spot needed to stay......filler on/ filler off....I felt like the "bondo kid"

You will have to excuse me for being sadistic, but that's hilarious!

Denny, I think you should take the helm on getting all of the
principles on this part of FABO corralled to display in one place
together at the 2013 Mopar Nationals.

Opinions anyone?
