I will thank you. I was hoping that with a mini tub and a 4 link that I wouldn't need to do anything else. The rear is a B Body 8 3/4 not shortened. The car is at body work right now, so thats why I am hoping that I can fit these nicely without doing much, as I believe Mad Dart has on his dart with just a mini tub and 4 link.

Denny told me that major FABO partial builds from this area of the
site could be trailered in and exhibited "as is".

It would be a treat for faithfull FABO fans and an inspiration for aspiring
builders that are just getting into this level of construction.

Luv the e-mails....especially the ones regarding the ubsurber commie about to get fired

Gear vendor is proven, and works as advertised...but if the new Passon 5-speed was available and PROVEN....I would take a look at it. In my opinion...the gear vendor install requires a little modification to the tunnel to do it right.

appx 30'' tall rear tire, 4:30 gear, 72-75mph @ appx 2200rpm w/OD (freeway cruisen)
 
Use plenty of jackstands.

I won't mention any names but what would you do if your
differential slipped off of your floor jack and knocked over
the two inadequetly placed jackstands you had put in place?

....and you were alone under the car....except for a deaf cat.

Does anyone else have the Hemi Denny K-member in a running car? I'm trying to decide if i wanna go for this or make my wallet cry w/ an alterkation K.

I'm kinda wondering how it rides/drives, and how it may handle a road race setup/being thrown into corners at relatively high speeds.
 
stupid mistake.....block of wood w/rag on the cup of the floor jack...to protect the powder coat. never again

I had already let the rear down to re-adjusted it...started going back up and still did not like the looks of it...just as I started to twist the handle...down it came...I guess I wasn't fast enough

ordered a new tank that night...30% off/year one sale

$hit happens .... time to remember an important lesson...
Never enough time to do it right, but always plenty of time to re-do it after the hurry

As for what i'd do...something along those lines, but with words that would get me banned for typing.

I had 3 and the last one I had in my Hemi Duster for I think 8 years. Its unbelievable. The newer ones that Denny is making is going in my Hemi Dart. Now I'm not a road racer so I cant comment on that but I bet it would be better than anything else you buy. My 2 Cents

I like the rocket cycle...technically looks more like a bomb cycle and I prefer my Daniel Boone knee high Mocassin boots from the 80's with fringe along the top over sheepskin. What happen to the new shifter ?
